Trump could have ignored the Oscars show, Kimmel could have ignored Trump.

Trump continued to show he has to comment on everything, Kimmel showed why we don’t care about the Oscars and haven’t cared for many years.

It doesn’t matter whether Trump made a comment about the Oscars or not, Jimmy Krimminel would have pulled an anti-Trump joke out of his backside anyway. It is what he is paid to do.

“Trump could have ignored the Oscars show, Kimmel could have ignored Trump.

Trump continued to show he has to comment on everything, Kimmel showed why we don’t care about the Oscars and haven’t cared for many years.”

I see every movie worth seeing. This year I went out to see some old classics. I did see Oppenheimer.

It was not entertaining for me. But it is a very good movie well cast, well produced with good soundtrack. The story was very ver good

I know now that Chris Nolan is an excellent director with a good education and an English lit degree from a good British school. He met his wife in school and she started then helping him make movies. She’s now his producer Emma Thomas.

I haven’t watched the Oscar’s in 20 years. However this year I’ve got every one around here grabbing me to watch the awards as they are all wildly fans of Chris Nolan since the Dark Knight Rises came out - a long time ago- and Christopher Nolan has been getting snubbed all that time. A la Spielberg

We saw the awards shows this now this year and they handed Nolan and his cast, crew and producer wife awards for Oppenheimer like mad. The SAGs the golden globes and the Governors award hosted by John Mullaney who was knowledgeable, spontaneous, hilarious and roasted the subjects without being ad homenim insulting

Nolan’s film deserved all of it and also the competition is abysmal. Hollywood has become a lecturing boring entity who completely disregards the power of storytelling - and visual storytelling- to portray common themes to help individuals inspire themselves to become better at whatever they do by seeing protagonists go through adversity to succeed and how to do it

People tuned in. Nolan fans tuned in. Nolan is a family man whose family is on set. He works to lead. He does what he expects others to do. He is calm and non egotistical. He is excellent and expects the same of his staff. He doesn’t allow phones on set. He expects work. His cast and crew adore him and follow him. It’s reminiscent to me of capt winters in band of brothers

He watches all manner of film and tv. He watches fast and furious loves mission impossible and quotes Dr Strangelove at will. He uses no internet for his material as he wants security and simplicity, and because it is uneccessary, which has proven successful

On most acceptance speeches the award winner tonight at the Oscar’s indicated family members in the audience parents and children. Mothers in law fathers in law siblings. They said thank you to the academy, the Nolan’s, their agents, their families and got off the stage. They focused on the movie not themselves nor any other unrelated thing

What the audience saw, anticipating all this, having seen the previous award shows that Oppenheimer dominated, was Kimmel opening by pointing out that Nolan does not use internet, though Kimmel quipped that Nolan uses no internet on set in order to keep his porn addiction at bay. Nolan was sitting next to his wife and daughter for this ‘joke’. It went flat. The Nolan’s laughed to be sports. The joke was not funny, among many reasons, because it wasn’t anywhere near true, which is a building block of humor.

Kimmel then proceeded to make fun of Downey’s (RDJ’s) past of drug use and then talked about RDJ’s penis, again, neither of which the audience wanted to hear

The tv audience who tuned in for Nolan saw this train wreck, heard it screeching, slamming, exploding, and immediately tuned out Kimmel. They muted the live broadcast on seeing him speak. They learned quickly, used to being marginalized, that Kimmel was one of the those hateful ignoramuses so used to being sheltered among like thinkers that there was going to be no consideration that Oppenheimer was a truly great movie having been put together by a conglomeration of the most excellent movie makers

Nolan in his acceptance speech mused how movies would promise more greatness.

Then John Mulaney entered stage left. He delivered an intro to an award where he had the live and tv audiences laughing and delighted. Refreshed pleading for him to save them next year if not right away from another 5 hours of hate and boredom of Kimmel and his has been lecturing holier than them ignorant sheltered stale nonsensical R rated family unfriendly smut

At that point Kimmel took Trump’s bait. He recited Trumps message that everyone was thinking and handed over the torch to the next iteration of Hollywood who can and will make good movies of stories, comedy, tragedy, musical and decency.
