Good God, who the hell appointed her? Let me guess: Ewic “sanctuary city” Adams.

Reminds of when Bloomberg appointed a woman - Janette Sadik-Khan - to head the department of transportation, a woman who admitted she never drove a car in her life. ZERO experience in anything even remotely related to transportation and not surprisingly she made traffic hell on earth, literally reducing roads by 2/3rds by putting in bus lanes and bike lanes and disallowing cars to make turns for blocks on end. I remember it took me FOUR hours once to get out of Manhattan.

Too many people complain about Adams when he is going everything he can within the laws of the city. The sanctuary city policies can only be repealed by the city council who are elected by the people of New York City. To all the FDNY whining about persecution: if you can’t stand the heat, quit the department and get hired where you generally live in Suffolk or Orange counties.

When I drive into NY, I often wonder who the H installed the space wasting bus and bike lanes. I try to remember how it was back in the eighties. How did the buses ever manage without their own lanes. The worst is that some bike lanes have their own light to make a turn.
