Except at Google.
They would have a massive uphill battle anyways. They dont actually work for Youtube. They work for Cognizant which provides contractors to Youtube. Microsoft does the same thing, specifically so that they dont have to provide benefits. Basically, it is a case of employees for company B trying to be recognized as in the union of company A.
Liberals are the meanest people around.
You don’t lay off contractors. You either let the contract expire, or exercise your rights under the contract (terminate the contract, or don’t assign any more work under the contract).
In any event, Texas should deport them back to California.
