Until the establishment of the USA, Christians and Muslims have been trying to rid the world of the Jews, and each other, as well as those within their ranks who were deemed to be heretics. They almost succeeded in the 1940s of ridding the world of we Jews.
The Muslims are still working on it.

Here are the alternatives:
American principle - all persons are (as individuals) presumed innocent until proven guilty (of a particular crime), combined with punishment that fits the crime
Christian principle - combines justice with mercy
I am sorry, but as the other side becomes more and more evil, it is clearer and clearer that decent people can no longer associate with that side.
And, it’s a funny thing, isn’t it, that socialism evolves into hate; while, free-market economics is driven to justice and mercy. Who would have thought that there would be such a connection between economic policy and social policy prior to these times?
Unfortunately Moore is one of the millions of USA citizens who have no idea about the Spanish Inquisition even if they have heard the term.
