Thomas Kingston had lunch with his parents during a visit to their Cotswold home just moments before he was found dead at the £3million mansion. Gloucestershire Coroner's Court heard today that Mr Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter Lady Gabriella Kingston, died as a result of a "traumatic head wound".
Alongside his body, a gun was found near to his body in an outbuilding at his parent's home, the opening of the inquest was told.
The coroner's court was told that just moments before his death, Mr Kingston had lunch with his family at their home on February 25, 2024.

Not, not, NOT that someone beat him in the heard, nor that he fell!
THE INQUEST REPORT CALLS IT DEATH BY SUICIDE!
It wasn’t one mission. William flew more than 100 missions on the craft that has been shown to cause cancer. I think something like 150 missions.
I haven’t seen ANYWHERE that Kingston has been deemed suicide. Got a link? It could have been a gun cleaning accident.
And once again, you are dead wrong that William can just deem Catherine Regent and it will be so.
Parliament decides. It is typically those that are line for the throne although that can be deviated from if Parliament votes on it. William can say he wants Catherine as Regent but Parliament can ignore it.
Harry is loathed in the UK!
THE SPARE and all of the subsequent T.V. interviews have made him persona non grata there!
Parliament has already shot down every single attempt, Harry demanded for "protection", when/if he returns to the UK, with or without the family in tow.
SPOT ON!
so you have no link where it has been deemed a suicide. there is none.
Dr Jones, consultant histopathologist, is doing a post mortem.
A provisional cause of death is listed as “traumatic wound to the head”.
It does not say gun shot.
It does not say suicide.
They are doing a post mortem.
It could have been a gun cleaning accident.
Since you claimed that Catherine would automatically be Regent show me the law that states that.
I have shown you the law from the House of Commons that shows you are wrong. Show me the law that says you are right.
I dont understand why people on this thread are ignoring the law and claiming they know differently.
So for all those that wrongly believe that Catherine automatically becomes regent just because William may have asked for it...read this document from the House of Commons website that spells it out.

This is a slam dunk.>>
DCI Barnaby will have it solved with a full confession in 45 minutes
“If the next in line to the Throne is not of full age at the commencement of a
Regency, then the Regent will be the next in the line of succession. Upon
reaching the age of 18 during such a Regency, then the heir shall “thereupon
become Regent instead of the person who has theretofore been Regent”.
51
Only the heir can be Regent aged 18, but if the Regent is not the heir, then
they must be aged 21.52
If an incumbent Regent dies or becomes disqualified, then they are replaced
by the next in the line of succession to the Throne.53 If a Regent becomes
incapacitated or unavailable, then Section 2 of the Act applies.
54 Unlike an
incapacitated or unavailable monarch, however, “a later recovery or return to
availability would not reinstate him or her as Regent”.
55
Following the accession of Queen Elizabeth II in February 1952, Princess
Margaret, the Queen’s sister and next adult in line to the Throne, would have
become Regent (rather than the monarch’s husband) under the provisions of
the 1937 Act.56
Section 1 of the Regency Act 1953 altered this by allowing the Duke of
Edinburgh to become Regent if one of his children with the Queen succeeded
to the Throne while under the age of 18.57 Section 2 provided this would be the
case until “there is a child or grandchild of Her Majesty and His Royal
Highness who can under the provisions of the said Act be the Regent”.58
This provision became spent when the then Prince of Wales (Prince Charles)
reached the age of 18 in November 1966 and thus became eligible to act, if
necessary, as Regent.
I didn't read it, I heard it on line ( video ), from someone I trust to tell the truth AND who is a personal friend of that person, who is a cousin of Tom's wife, who also said this. No, the video maker did NOT say where he read that info. Yes, he is a Brit.
It could have been the fairies, who did him in, or perhaps a "republican" who hates royal, of even the IRA! LOL
See how idiotic the speculation is?
“6 During Lords consideration of the 1937 Act, Lord Dickinson had envisaged a future husband of
Princess Elizabeth being unable to become Regent under its provisions. He urged flexibility for
Parliament to have to “right to vary this rule” but Viscount Halifax refused, predicting “endless
controversy” should the government agree (HL Deb 16 Feb 1937 Vol 104 cc159-61).”
What will be allowed will depend on Parliament at that time and it will have to be voted on. IT IS NOT AUTOMATIC FOR CATHERINE TO BE REGENT. For example if she divorced William (unlikely but possible) they could refuse. They wouldn’t have let Diana be Regent for a Minor King William.
What if she dies and King George has a Step Mother. Who is Regent then? All of these things could happen.
But this is what you said. It’s not true
“THE INQUEST REPORT CALLS IT DEATH BY SUICIDE!”
The inquest says no such thing.
It may be suicide. Maybe you have been told by friends it is suicide BUT THE REPORT DOES NOT SAY IT YET.
A post mortem has been ordered on the body.
She knows NOTHING whatsoever and just mispronounced and is WORCESTERSHIRE AND GLOUCESTER!
She doesn't believe that Catherine was EVER in the hospital, had surgery, but is in a coma!
SEE? THIS CRAP IS BEING PUT OUT BY THE SUGARS, JUST AS I CLAIMED!
And THIS lunatic believes that William is involved with Tom's death! Yeah...........right, he shot Tom and then somehow managed to lock the door FROM THE OUTSIDE, FROM THE INSIDE!
When I find out more, I'll let you know.
No link, but the moron who did this video is named Sharion Sade. So look her up, if you want to. Her entire video is nothing but utter and complete MORONIC GARBAGE!
Oh..............so YOU know MORE than a BRIT, who also knows a member of the grieving family?
That can mean only one thing...the death is suspicious.
<< If Prince William died and Prince George is a minor Parliament could make Kate Regent but it would have to be voted on.>>
From what I know RummyChick has it right.
Charles dies, William is king, William dies George is king.
Because the kid (George is too young) he gets a regent to run things until he is of age.
I’m not betting a bank book on it but I’m almost sure a regent has to be appointed, I guess by a vote (not of the people)
Truth be told King Charles could linger in a coma for a year and no one would do anything. You would just hear how Prince William is filling in for his ailing father.
It’s not as if the King does anything important any more. He’s not in charge of invasions or wars or even taxes….or anything really
My “issue” is with sloppy writing:
Alongside his body, a gun was found near to his body....

You are not seeing the redundancy?
Mystery Solved by Quick Search……
Harry is still fifth in line to the throne. His father is king, his brother, Prince William is first in line and William’s children – Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis – are second, third and fourth in line, respectively.
Because Prince George would still be a minor if he became King as a child, a Regent would be appointed until he becomes an adult according to the Regency Act 1937. The Regency Act was created to make provision for what would happen in the event either that the monarch is under the age of 18 or if the monarch becomes incapacitated through illness.
Dr Jarvis insisted Princess Anne. She told Jeremy Vine that Princess Anne could well be promoted to the position of Regent in the event somewhere were to happen to the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge. Dr Jarvis added that for Princess Royal to move up the pecking order, non-working members of the Royal Family like Prince Harry and Prince Andrew would need to removed from the line of succession.
(I think….Non working would quickly be off the list. I also think Anne would be an excellent idea. She is very much her mother in regards to protocol)
Tom Kingston was such a handsome man. His bride was pretty. If you look at older pictures of Mr. Kingston he looked happy and completely relaxed especially with other women. Recent pictures of the Kingston’s looked to me his relationship with his wife was strained. His death is so sad.
Anne is a TREASURE; that’s for certain!
