Don’t mess with alligator lizards either. I fed one to a pet snake I have when I was a kid, and when I came back a few minutes later to see if he had been eaten, the lizard had the snakes head in his mouth. They are mean........

I did see one in Ajo Az in the wild. I watched it for a while and I was amazed at how slow it was.
I can’t figure out how they can catch anything to eat. Well maybe that is why they are so rare. I spent years in the desert and only can across one.

The Gila Monster bite did not kill him. Stupidity killed him. The Gila Monster bite was just the instrument used.
