They gave him a “prestigious award.” Awards, medals, and honors are more often than not to bring attention to the giver, rather than the receiver. They are often signs of political support. Think of Obama’s Nobel Prize. When he was told he asked, “what for?” Because he was black and president. Or, rather, because he wasn’t white. Think of the scholarship awards to President Clinton. Would he have gotten them if he’d been a Republican? Almost certainly not. We live in a world where organizations promote themselves by giving awards. The fact they gave an award to this POS tells us exactly who they are trying to attract and manipulate. It’s similar to the way Islam works. An Imam with no followers is just a guy on a streetcorner. An Imam with a thousand followers can manipulate whole countries to do his will. Same thing for organizations who give out “prestigious awards.”
