ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday held a news conference in Lake Nona.
The event comes a day after DeSantis and his wife, first lady Casey DeSantis, held a news conference in Tallahassee to announce cancer innovation fund awards.

Thank you for the link. In the article, Gov DeSantis is fighting back about so-called “book banning” and frivolous claims that demand the Bible being taken out of the library, along with a lot of other school-library-appropriate books. How this is self-promotion instead of doing his job to protect the younger citizens of Florida is beyond me.
In his first term, he held press conferences about what was being accomplished and what needed to be done. It’s called communication. Pres. Trump usually kept us in the loop, too. Of course, you will most likely view every word he utters in media as solely self-promoting.

So you think it’s great that desanctus is still trying to keep himself relevant after being an absentee governor for almost a year, by trying to spend hundreds of millions in tax payer money,to bribe people now, which means increased taxes later?

He’s doing his job. He’s being a leader. Nothing more. Good for him.
He’s not “trying to bribe” anyone. He’s run up a surplus in Florida by cutting government. Good job, Governor DeSantis.
I wish we had more like him.
