Note the negative divergence. Price going up, RSI going down. TA would say this often means a decline in price is coming.

One could argue, though, that this was just an interim selloff. The moving average ribbon did not change, and we are still well above the 200 day moving average.

I agree but I like xlk better ... it is heavier in tech and has outperformed qqq over the long haul.

Agreed, QQQ has good diversification (100 stocks and not all just tech), and the buy-sell spread is almost always just a penny.

That sounds like a lot of the results when I follow the recommendations of my stockbrokers.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
XLK is great for that, but almost half the fund is weighted to two stocks - MSFT and AAPL. I’d be a little skittish to put too much into XLK for that reason.
