Tucker Carlson defended on Monday his decision not to question Russian President Vladimir Putin about allegations that the Kremlin has ordered assassinations of political dissidents.
"Every leader kills people. Some kill more than others," the former Fox News host said.
His comments came during a discussion at the World Government Summit in Dubai that touched upon his interview last week with the Russian leader. The interview, taped on February 6 and aired two nights later, has made international headlines for numerous statements made by Putin, including his supposed rationale for invading Ukraine.
During the Dubai summit, Egyptian journalist Emad el-Din Adeeb asked Carlson why he didn't ask Putin about jailed Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, alleged political assassinations or restrictions in Russia's upcoming presidential election.
"I didn't talk about the things that every other American media outlet talks about," Carlson said.
After Adeeb pressed him further, Carlson added: "Because those are covered and because I have spent my life talking to people who run countries in various countries and have concluded the following: that every leader kills people, including my leader.
"Every leader kills people. Some kill more than others. Leadership requires killing people.

Tucker just speaks the simple truth. His detractors are all a bunch of low IQ morons who’ve been highly propagandized by the msm.
And lost his main audience. He found his niche.
Smart.
Why ask a question that we already know the answer to just to get a “zinger” in.
Besides, Putin would have just denied it or whatabouted it and point to people killed by western leaders.
His main audience was watching Fox only for his show. When he was fired, they remained his main audience and now he's added significantly to that.
For the sake of excusing Putin, Tucker embraces a facile and false cynicism. There is a big difference between Putin, who rose to and clings to power through the frequent murder of domestic political opponents and merely useful targets, and American presidents, who approve drone strikes and military operations as part of their official duties.
Them too, and the list is a lot longer.
Both.
These hypocrites have still never taken an interest in the Clinton Body Count.
This is the real reason the zeepers hate Tucker Carlson.

Tucker Carlson ‘told colleague he “hated Trump passionately” and was excited about not having to cover him after 2020 election loss,’ court filings claim
“Obama is Putin’s biggest supporter”
So Mr.Globohomo himself is Mr. anti-Globohomo Putins biggest fan?
I got to here how this is explanined...
There is a long list of people killed by Presidents. Benghazi was the first one that came to my mind, but there have been so many others. Let’s start with Randy Weaver’s wife and son. Sure the ATF did the shooting but they were sent in there. There were deaths connected to Fast Furious, and how about Cliven Bundy? Arkancides were too many to even name. I believe that Epstein was an Arkancide, but that was long after Clinton was out of office and I believe it was Hillary’s doing anyway.

Putins polonium endeavors notwithstanding the rest is just blah
What Selidovo doink?
“How about offing a US president? Come on, you can say it. What national security agency assassinated Kennedy? I’ll help you. It wasn’t the Cubans, Soviets or Chicoms.”
