That’s like saying corn beef and cabbage isn’t Irish - it isn’t - except it has become so by Irish-American standards, intended as such, and everyone thinks it. We know what it is supposed to represent.
If it’s tasteless garbage to you then that’s a you problem. Quesadillas are delicious when cooked right.

Sorry, I’m grumpy. The whole Mexican normalization thing makes me so. And it never happened until 20 years ago when the illegal push really seriously started. All the food, all the language helpers in Lowe’s and every other store, never happened until libs took up the Illegal Alien Cause.
Didn’t I specifically state that corn beef thing is NOT Irish? but that’s what Irish-Americans came up with and want us all to think.

At Fenway, the box was the last one on the left field side. The view was “ok”. On an April evening, it got pretty chilly so a lot of time was spent inside. But in August, the seats were fine.
In the old Boston Garden, the boxes were about half way up, so we had a good look down on the court/rink.
In Hartford I only went for concerts. What was good there wasn’t the view—they are all about the same. It was not being down among the throng of drunk and high fools.
In all cases, the biggest benefit (aside from the free beer) was the ability to move and the private bathroom.
What a country! Society was better when entertainers were considered to be the lowest rung of society.
it’s about the boys...baseball and football guys are generally okay....basketball is another story.

They scroll along to see subjects like "Swift", the "Super Bowl", or "SNL", then feel compelled to open the thread and be sure to take the time and effort to bore the rest of us about how they "could not care less about" or "haven't watched and never will" or the cliched "hasn't been funny since the Belushi years".

I know. Sure, she’s pretty, but she does nothing for me. Her publicists put her out there because the more money she makes, the more they make. It’s a win-win for them, and the fans that idolize her.
I don’t care how much money she makes, or her boyfriend, or Patrick Mahomes-
I only care about what I have. THAT’S what matters.
