According to marriage and family therapist and YourTango expert, Frances Patton, you are in a toxic relationship if your partner constantly demands to have their needs be met while refusing to meet yours.

The entire article sounds like a drunk text. Extremely repetitive.
And: “disrespec”?
Toxic texting is when someone sends you a text asking a question. Five minutes later the text is followed up by “???” while you’re in line somewhere. Glad you have nothing to do all day but text folks.
You're really boxing me in, ya' know? Where in the Constitution does it say the First Amendment NOT apply to the intoxicated, inebriated or three sheets to the wind people? It protects people of all CREEDS and races.
If I receive an inappropriate text, I simply hit DELETE. Works for me.

I didn't intend to do it either - thought it was one of the lower forms of communication. Then 1 day I was in an important meeting that I couldn't duck out of and got a text from my daughter who was having car trouble, so I texted her back telling her what to do until I could get out of the meeting and come and get her. She was shocked - "You text?" I told her it's not hard, just never saw the need before. Turns out it's a convenient way to keep in touch when you can't talk.
Never put in writing what you can say with your mouth. Never say with your mouth what you can imply with a gesture.
