And then it turns out Hitler isn't your friend after all.
Putin is going down the same path today. He is partnering with North Korea, China, and Iran.
The tyrants running those countries wouldn't think twice about attacking Russia if it was in their best interests.
The day that Xi decides he wants a chunk of Siberia he'll take it.
Agree.
When Hitler came to power in 1933, he envisioned Poland as a potential ally, mainly due to his admiration for Marshall Piłsudski, knowing his hatred of the Russians.
Hitler even attended a memorial for Piłsudski, and placed an honor guard at Piłsudski’s tomb in Kraków, when the Nazis occupied the city in 1939.
Hitler felt betrayed when Poland decided to ally with Britain and France, and from that point on, decided to pretty much eliminate the Poles as a race.
Революція гідності literally translates to "Dignity Revolution" or more grammatically "Revolution of Dignity"
No he’s not.
The Wołyn movie was brutal.
I’m glad Poland is giving a rebuttal to Putin’s ‘history.’
I was surprised Tucker didn’t ask anything about Russia’s relationship with Iran or Syria nor anything about Russian elections nor freedom of speech/protests but his hosts may have limited his options.
It was nice to actually see an interview at length instead of a few questions designed to elicit soundbites that can fit between commercials.
Tucker reports, you decide.
Did Putin mention anything about the price of eggs in Ruzzia?
Thank you kindly for posting this incisive perspective from our experienced ally.
No country is run by angels - Poland WAS flirting and double crossing the Germans. But I watched the whole thing - Putin didn't insinuate that Poland started the war - but played a part in it.
Poland was wanting to take parts of Ukraine at the time - that is a historical fact. Several countries have historical claims to parts of Ukraine. The point is that the histroy is not as simple as the West pretends it it.
The break-up of the Austria-Hungary Empire after WWI was a Cluster You-Know-What, it created multi-ethnic states which could not hold together.
Agreed.
Tucker got the interview they couldn’t, and they hate him for it. They demand to control the propaganda — they are Putin’s counterpart.
They don’t mention Tucker’s repeated questions concerning the relevance of the history as it might relate to the recent invasion.
They are incapable of seeing beyond the agitprop they’ve been trained to spew.
Or, you could find some new pictures instead of using the same old tired ones.
Remember...you’re the one with a lack of imagination.
I actually think it’s fine for Carlson to just let Putin speak. He’s the interviewer, it’s not his job to argue with Putin during the interview.
It’s fine he let Putin say his piece, and now the whole world (including Poland) will get their chance to fact check Putin.
Carlson did his job, which is to let the the world know what Putin actually believes.
>>Nazi Germany and Russia started WW2 with a simultaneous invasion of Poland in which they split it between them by agreement between Stalin and Hitler.
Not true. Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939.
The Soviet Union invaded Poland on September 17, 1939.

“Europe” didn’t invade Russia you twit, Russia invaded Europe with Hitler
and the rest of Europe and America eventually saved Russia’s butt. As did the Russians themselves.
I do not think you are well read about the goings on.
“History is a set of lies agreed upon.” — Napoleon Bonaparte
Examine the objective measures of what went on at Stalingrad.
Now called Volgograd. Fundamental tenet — Oil is everything.
Stalingrad was the control point on the Volga River, where oil barges traversed northward from the Soviet Caucasus oil fields to Moscow. Hitler knew this. He was not stupid. His orders were to choke off the oil at Stalingrad.
Hundreds of thousands of German, Italian, Romanian and Hungarian troops were there, on Soviet soil, at Stalingrad. The Romanian oil fields fueled those armies. That European army listed above had enormous numbers.
They were essentially wiped out. The Soviets lost 10 million casualties, civilian and army, but the Germans had that whole army surrender. All of it. No country as small as Germany can endure such a loss.
No, the Brits and US and France etc did not win the war in Europe. It was won February 1942 when the German 6th Army surrendered at Stalingrad. It was all relentless decline and formality from that point on. You do realize it was the Soviets that took Hitler’s bunker? It was they that took Berlin. Not the west. More bogus history. Read the Wiki about the Battle of Berlin.
Napoleon was right. One knows nothing if one thinks high school history was accurate.
This is the problem with only reading one set of history books.
>>The break-up of the Austria-Hungary Empire after WWI was a Cluster You-Know-What,
Poland also came from chunks of the German and Russian Empires as well as parts of the Austro-Hungary Empire.
November 11, 1918 is usually commemorated as the end of WW I, but that was not true in Eastern Europe.
“The War of the World: Twentieth-Century Conflict and the Descent of the West” by Niall Ferguson has a good description of this.
There is very little peach between WW I & II; only from the end of the Polish Soviet War in 1921 and the invasion of Manchuria by Japan in 1931.
