There was never a purer demonstration of how traitorous Democrats are about “defending democracy,” or whatever corny phrase they like to use, than what just happened at the Supreme Court.
At the very end of oral arguments in the Colorado case determining whether the state had the right to remove former President Donald Trump’s name from the 2024 ballot, Justice Samuel Alito asked the state’s solicitor general, Shannon Stevenson, what’s going to happen if other states “retaliate” by, say, removing Joe Biden from theirs. Elected officials in at least six states have suggested it as a course of action.

In essence, to believe this entire case by Democrats is an effort to safeguard democracy, rather than rig an election, is to trust that Republicans would never dare try doing the same. If they did, it would ruin Democrats’ plot. Alternatively, if such threats were made good, we should expect enough opposition to render them neutral.

Wouldn't make a bit of difference if they did try. Here are the "red" states which Biden won previously which have Republicans in charge of their elections and therefore could try to get Biden off the ballot:
Georgia
New Hampshire
Taking him off the ballots there would accomplish nothing. He'd still get to 270.
OTOH, every other swing state is controlled by Democrats, including one (North Carolina) which Trump narrowly won.
Democrat lawyer sounds as safe as hiring a wino to babysit your kids.
There once was a country song entitled, “I’m going to hire a wino to decorate my house.”
Bkmk
Sounds like the same people LOL
And the ironic thing is, Democrats are quintessential fascists.
What caught my attention during the SGs oral argument was that a challenge to Trump’s ballot eligibility was filed before he even filed to run.
You had to snip, you couldn’t include the Dem’s reply in your post?
Or a state could determine that Biden had committed impeachable offenses that warranted removing him and barring him from any future office.
What was the reply to that fabulous question?
The reply was couched in legal jargon which was unconvincing and again rebutted by the judges. Murray was swamped today. Hopefully, that Colorado Supreme Court feels like adolescents who have just been reprimanded by Daddy.
Here’s another interesting tidbit — on The Five today Judge Pirrino said she felt that even Brown-Jackson was siding with the majority. Dana said that would make the lone holdout Sotomayor, but she thought it would be a unanimous decision.
