I wonder when whomever waiting in the wings to replace him in November comes forward. I'm thinking late August (a “brokered convention”??), which will give the GOP little time to counter.

What the investigator is saying is that Joe Biden is not competent to be charged with a criminal offense. If he were charged he would not be able to appreciate and understand the nature and consequences of the charges and he could not rationally assist his counsel in his defense. Therefore, he is incompetent to prosecute.

Special Counsel Robert Hur's report has been released. "Biden willfully retained" marked and unmarked classified documents at his home. This "risked serious damage to America's national security" Yet Biden will not be charged. Here are the highlights

There are tapes: in 2017, Biden told a writer he "found all the classified stuff downstairs" at his Delaware home. These documents were later found by the FBI. Hur: this evidence shows "Biden willfully retained the marked classified documents about Afghanistan."

There is also evidence that Biden:

- Unlawfully retained classified notebooks post-Vice Presidency.
- Disclosed classified info in his notebooks to his ghostwriter.

Biden explained that when he described material in his notebooks as "classified" he did not actually mean "classified" The Special Counsel didn't buy it.

Recordings from 2017 captured Biden giving his ghostwriter classified info multiple times. Biden was on record admitting the info "probably was classified."

Biden's ghostwriter "deleted digital audio recordings of his conversations with Mr. Biden" after he learned of Hur's appointment as Special Counsel. Hur declined to press charges.

Biden's serious cognitive issues are exposed - "He did not remember when he was vice president" He forgot "when his term began" "He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died."

Hur would decline to press charges against Biden for a number of reasons: A jury would not likely convict. Biden is too old to prosecute. A jury could believe he did not willfully retain the docs. A jury would see Biden "as an elderly man with a poor memory."

They prefer Gavin Newsom. But they can't replace Joe Biden with Gavin Newsom right now.

So if Joe Biden wins or loses in November, it works out for Gavin Newsom either way because he can use Joe Biden's record against Kamala Harris in 2028.

Well, the Dims are not known for being particularly bright. Biden is an albatross for the Dims. He will continue to embarrass the party, and, of course, the country. Not to mention if things get really dicey on the global stage he can NOT be relied upon to do anything that inures to the benefit and security of the country.

Obviously every senior staffer in the WH is well aware of Biden’s mental lack of capacity.

Now it is “official” and could be used for the 25th amendment if they wanted to go there.

But—I think they will just ignore it and let the mass media cover for them—as usual.

Biden stole some of the classified records 8 to 10 years ago and, while Biden was always stupid, he wasn’t senile then.

This is an extreme example of the double-standard of justice which means no justice at all.

I think Americans are going have to burn everything down to fix it.
