Steel has become an integral part of the American economy. But as a large portion of the sector is being "sold off to the highest bidder," members of the United Steelworkers (USW) union are sounding off over the transaction.

Funny. My uncle was a PBY guy in pacific during war. I know he hated the japs. We were talking by phone around 2000 about the car he was telling me he bought. He said it was a jap make. I exclaimed you bought an enemy car! He said the was has been over for 50 years. He added their TV cars seem better than I see here.
Years ago, I had a co-worker who was a survivor of Corregidor, Bataan Death March, and 4 years in a Japanese prison camp. Unbelievable, unshakable, unrelenting white hot hatred of everything Japanese. I heard his stories and understand why. His only son married a Japanese woman.

Somebody in the company must have come out smelling like a rose. I think it may have been a large mistake, as what is now left of our own steel industry here in the U.S.? Years ago, I had heard from someone who’d know,that some of the foreign steel was not always built to the correct dimensions for our use. Don’t know now if this would still be true.
You are correct. We do need to increase our prayer & church time. God never fails, but we have to show him that we really care for our beloved country & that we believe & trust in Him.
