The Kremlin confirmed on Wednesday that former Fox News host Tucker Carlson interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow, but disputed a claim he made that Western journalists hadn't attempted to interview the leader throughout the war.

Peskov said Carlson is "wrong" by suggesting that Western journalists haven't attempted to interview Putin—an assertion the former Fox News host made in a lengthy video announcing his interview with the Russian leader.
"He, in fact, cannot know this. We receive many requests for interviews with the president," Peskov said.

Many Western journalists have interviewed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but "not a single Western journalist has bothered to interview" the Russian president, Carlson claimed.

Yes, she’s typical of the left media. She signs off on whatever narrative is put in front of her, never questioning anything.
But the salient point you keep choosing to ignore, is that Tucker was granted the interview, whereas none of the other requests were honored.
The author has an interesting backround...
How many threads are you going to post about the Tucker Carlson-Putin interview today? 🙄🤔🥚🥚
Not really. He just said Carlson doesn’t know how many other journalists have asked to interview Putin. Which suggests that Putin specifically agreed to be interviewed by Carlson, while denying interviews to others.
Peskov mocked Tucker in his response, too. It wasn’t just a fact check.
Tucker is “The Chosen.”
Well, it certainly appears he was chosen in this instance.
FREEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!!
Join and laugh!! Marximus has moved from non-stop eggs in Russia to non-stop Tucker articles…
Tucker: fake but accurate! Self-aggrandizing. As are all media and people.
“Das Pout”
Did you hear that most of the Russian army is surrounded in Avdeyevka, Jon?
If that were the case, he wouldn't have bothered to clarify that Tucker had no way of knowing that other journalists had requested interviews.
Also, you continue to avoid even talking about the fact that Tucker was granted the interview that other journalists who had sought interviews were not granted interviews.
But then, that has always been your M.O. to avoid that which doesn't support your claims.
Apparently that was some kind of fake.
I walked past Moms’ slop last night without stopping. Last I read, Zaluzhny wanted to withdraw troops from Avdeyevka a few weeks ago, but Zelensky refused. Now it’s on the verge of collapse and when it does, Zaluzhny will be given his walking papers. Then the coup begins.
There will be much anger, and many full diapers around here.
And screaming about Internet lawns...
It doesn’t look good when there is an unforced error before the chute even opens.
IOW, Putin laughed off the others.
Tucker is “The Chosen One.”
