DeSantis began 2023 as the best positioned Republican candidate to challenge Trump for the party's presidential nomination, according to polling tracked by 538.

But he begins 2024 as another name on the growing list of rivals who failed to shake the former president's popularity among the GOP ---

DeSantis' early actions since leaving the race have already sparked speculation that the governor, who is only 45, could make another White House run in the future. A source close to him said that he has privately expressed interest in running again as early as 2028 and has brought it up as a possibility.

Abc looks like it talked to people, who wanted to air the dirty laundry behind the campaign.

And yes, desanctimonious is doing what ever he can, to keep his name in the news in a stealth campaign for 2024, or to prepare for 2028

The only thing saving DeSantis from indictment for election law violations is the Democrats don’t take him seriously.

His SuperPac antics were the most blatant violation of campaign law in decades—red meat for Justice Department attorneys if they want to go there.

He needs to keep a low profile and hope President Trump is elected—otherwise we are talking orange jumpsuit here.

Meatball lost me with his disloyalty to PDJT and he also lacks the proverbial GRAVITAS a POTUS candidate must have in my book.

DeSantis made a massive blunder running in 2024. His mistake was listening to advisors who don’t get paid for 18 months by telling him not to run.

He’s now got three years to rebuild his reputation. He is arguably the best governor ever. Be better.

desanctus is still doing what ever he can, to be in the news, likely because some ‘higher up’ people have told him he still has a chance to be the republican presidential nominee if the rnc or lawfare takes Trump off the ballot.

Much of the stuff the has him in the news now, he ignored while he was going hitting 99 iowa caucus sites for 3/4 of the past year.

If he had been more quiet, and hung in the background, there wouldn’t be stuff to post about him. Instead, with his stealth campaign, there’s stuff he’s doing daily, to post about.

-— Speculation at best. The news about the State Guard going to Texas.. as I previously mentioned, was a smart move and he did so along with several other states. He’s been a damn good Florida Governor. DeSantis is out in 2024 regardless and he knows it and he’d be a great 2028 candidate. He learned from his mistake.

-— Stick to hammering the opposition.

This jerk is muddying the waters for this election.

He should keep his mouth SHUT until AFTER the 2025 swearing in ceremony on January 20, 2025.

Speculation?

You mean like

desanctimonious “I’m not a candidate”

before he was...

before he wasn’t again.......

And from his actions, he keeping himself in the news....just in case he is, again for 2024
