Betty Boop?
Well, there’s this one. Seems to fit the bill you describe. She sings “Daddy...” though...

City wolf country wolf
Great cartoon
The cartoon you are referring to is likely “Red Hot Riding Hood,” a classic Tex Avery cartoon from 1943. In this cartoon, a girl named Red sings at a nightclub, and a wolf character becomes infatuated with her. Later in the cartoon, a character named “Madame La Zonga” steps onto the ballroom floor. It’s a famous and memorable scene from the Golden Age of animation.
Are you thinking of “Red Hot Riding Hood”? That’s a Tex Avery cartoon from 1943. That’s the only one I remember with a woman belting out a toon to a wolf in a nightclub.

When Madame Pompadour was on a ballroom floor
Said all the gentlemen, “Obviously,”
“The madame has the cutest personality.”
And think of all the books about Du Barry’s looks
What was it made her the toast of Paris?
She had a well-developed personality
I don’t know the cartoon, but you mention Madam Pompadour in the title of the thread, and it got me thinking of a great episode of Dr. Who. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdIHmP1e_Jg
I have a recording of that. I think it’s Pearl Bailey.
Bookmark.
I’ve seen that cartoon before. Cant remember the title.

Dorothy Lamour sang “Personality” in the movie Road to Utopia and rerecorded it years later. I can find the song, recordings by other artists, and plenty of Tex Avery cartoons but no pairing of “Personality” with a cartoon for Avery nor anyone else.
Could be there’s an homage sequence to Avery cartoons using the song—perhaps even in the Road to Utopia movie. But I haven’t found it and will end my supportive search.
We had it on a 45 RPM that had two songs on each side. IIRC, the other song on that side was "Till there was you"
