Take it up with NATO, the MIC, the globalists and the neocons. They kept pushing and prodding Russia and got exactly what they wanted...a proxy war.

Putin could have stood by and watched as the Ukrainian forces committed genocide against the Russian speaking people in the Donbas region.

He could have stood by and watched as NATO moved into Ukraine and took over the navy base at Sevastopol which Russia controlled since 1782.

OR he could act to protect Russia’s interests.
