Uh oh! This sportsmans has now done it! The Drive-By Media will be all over this.

Purdy has already generated a lot of attention as the absolute last person taken in the NFL college draft. He is not just confident. He is calm, cool and collected.

Now he gives all credit to the Lord. Wherever he is from, the Drive-By will ridicule him, call him a hick, and investigate his past.

Our dad was born in San Francisco when Kalifornia was California, and we grew up in Reagan Country. Ronaldus Magnus was our Governor, and we knew what a great President he would be. We remember 49er quarterback John Brodie. Purdy was obviously raised right.

Well, usually Gawd is not in Santa Clara this time of year. But I did see Purdy run for some long crucial gains, more than once, to keep the Niners moving. That one catch off a Lions’ helmet may have been heaven sent, I don’t know....

I’m pretty much of the opinion that if God were intervening here that there are a lot of innocent children who need help a lot more than the 49ers. But I could be wrong...just seems to me that a football game isn’t that important in this frequently horrible world.

Probably this just gave them the internal motivation to go for it with more confidence.

Oh do we ever remember Brodie, and not terribly kindly, as he had the propensity to choke. When I was in high school, when Marc Sudarski threw an awful pass he's yell, "BRODIE!!!"

Then there were those awful wooden benches at Kezar Stadium.

Down 17 Points at Half, Niners QB Brock Purdy Asked God to Take it From There

Down 3 points with only 2 minutes to go, Lions quarterback Jared Goff asked God to take it from there too.

Apparently God only favors the sinners from San Francisco...What a hypocrite

Glorify God? Maybe.

Jesus Christ showed up:

“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

And (to the adulteress): “Go, and sin no more.”

If the scriptures mention him going to the chariot races and picking the winner, I haven’t found that yet.

His career is over...
No big contracts...
No big endorsements...
NFL WILL require serious reeducation for him...
His parents and siblings will be facing constant State & Federal tax audits...
AOC will demand invocation of hate laws against him...
Maybe the NFL will suspend him from the SB game...
He certainly is now on the FBI’s “potential domestic terrorist” lists...

I was torn, I wanted both teams to win. Regardless, there were great sportsmen on both sides, but Zay Flowers was God’s gift to the Niners. He will never live that down. Zay Flowers is to Russell Wilson (and Pete Carroll) what Joe Biden is to Jimmy Carter. No longer the worst of all time.

I soured on the NFL for the past couple of years, but with the announcers no longer hectoring me about race and social justice, this year’s playoffs have been epic.

Good for Purdy, but the 49ers have always been a money laundering front for the Youngstown mafia.

They were run by real life Goodfellas:

Now he gives all credit to the Lord.

He should give credit to God for his existence, for the world he lives in, and for his opportunity to obtain eternal salvation through Christ. The win? I'd guess there are many devout Christians playing for the Lions who did nothing to deserve a crushing loss. I don't believe God cares who won the game yesterday.

I’m not sure God had anything to do with the Lion’s coach going for it twice on 4th down instead of kicking FGs.
