Down 17 Points at Half, Niners QB Brock Purdy Asked God to Take it From There

Had the Lions won it would have been Eminem vs Taylor Swift.
Glorify God? Maybe.
Jesus Christ showed up:
“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
And (to the adulteress): “Go, and sin no more.”
If the scriptures mention him going to the chariot races and picking the winner, I haven’t found that yet.
“So, does anyone know what the over-and-under is on how many times TV will show Miss Swift during the game?? “
She is the most famous woman in history. Bar none. She has at least a billion rabid fans.
How could you expect any media to ignore her?
She is already on the cover of FIVE magazines at my supermarket checkout stand. Probably more.
His career is over...
No big contracts...
No big endorsements...
NFL WILL require serious reeducation for him...
His parents and siblings will be facing constant State & Federal tax audits...
AOC will demand invocation of hate laws against him...
Maybe the NFL will suspend him from the SB game...
He certainly is now on the FBI’s “potential domestic terrorist” lists...
Yes, good point.
Beatlemania has nothing on Taylormania.
I was torn, I wanted both teams to win. Regardless, there were great sportsmen on both sides, but Zay Flowers was God’s gift to the Niners. He will never live that down. Zay Flowers is to Russell Wilson (and Pete Carroll) what Joe Biden is to Jimmy Carter. No longer the worst of all time.
I soured on the NFL for the past couple of years, but with the announcers no longer hectoring me about race and social justice, this year’s playoffs have been epic.
Are some prayers more equal than other prayers? /s
On the other hand, as I understand it, God's powers and abilities are not in short supply. I would speculate He has the resources to handle both accounts if He chooses.
But I don't disagree with your point. I hope the faithful pray for both unborn babies and the valor of our sporting teams in such a way as to witness to God that we are generous with our good will, rather than depraved in our judgment.
most of the time for me, it isn’t a bolt from the blue.
you’re right. football is just a game. but if God could use a donkey, he can use football. God is clearly using Purdy in this case. there’s a lot of young boys who admire football and games in general. also God answers prayer, and it’s us individuals who pray.
God won’t do your homework for you. But if you’re a child of His, and you ask humbly, fervently, and for His glory, He will recall for you what you already know, just when you need it. then He will give you the peace that gets you out of your own way. God favors a prepared mind. so many times, he’s reminded me of the goods, just in time.
They were run by real life Goodfellas:
Of course, God invented football.
Did you see the criminal Raven that socked Mahomes right in the face? Did the referee call it? No. So I don’t want to hear any more bellyaching about the referees being biased in favor of the Chiefs.
I think Cleopatra is the most famous or the Virgin Mary.
right, Sister Aria. and i don’t think He answers the ‘superfluous,’ but i do remember some very Comforting Words about Him using the ‘small things’ and the ‘foolish things of the world...’ :)
I know that feeling. Like when the clock struck midnight and the Browns turned back into a pumpkin.
“That one catch off a Lions’ helmet may have been heaven sent, I don’t know....”
That was game loser for Detroit.
Yeah, a lot of you guys don’t get it. That’s Ok. We understand.
Yes. The Ravens were possessed by unclean spirits and reaped their due reward.😡
