Yesterday I ran into somebody that I haven't seen in a while. I haven't seen this guy for months. He’s been here for about five months in the United States. Six months something like that. And he says uh hey I'm uh I’m looking for work. And I said well I can't hire you man I'm not I I got to hire like legitimate people or whatever. And he was like no no no I'm I'm legitimate now and he broken English kind of bits and pieces together and he pulls his ID and stuff out of his pocket. And he says I got social security card now and I got workers ID and permit for working everything all legit. Stamp City stamping specialized Social Security envelope and I said let's go inside real quick. I need a translator and I a couple of my guys they speak Spanish. And and uh i'm talking to them and uh it says…so where are we at with uh time frame? Um how long did it take you to get your social Security card and your workers permit? He said maybe three and a half, four months. Uh finished in my hand. This dude got his freaking work permit and social security card. Came here illegally got documented. Got on the buses from Texas to Chicago. Got processed here in Chicago, found an apartment building within the first week. An efficiency apartment. Moved into the apartment building, and then has been working cash jobs under the table for the last four months. Until recently uh got his workers permit now he's working for a roofing company.

understood.
every employer in town is begging to hire people to work

the problem is, as you pointed out, so many Americans don’t want to work

or they don’t show up, or they screw up royally, or they just walk off the job without even telling anyone
....all sorts of jobs are available but almost nobody wants to work, they wanna sit at home and play computer games with themselves or watch pornhub videos all day

a big improvement can be had quickly and easily...just give the lazy grifter bums reasonable (maybe 60 days) notice that their welfare benefits are being terminated.....(I mean only those that are reasonably able to work, I do not mean to cut off benefits from the genuinely disabled, etcetera)....

offer whatever job placement assistance is available and then let them select a job .. and regain some self-respect

we get what we pay for. when we pay for illegal immigrants and pay for lazy bums to just loaf all day, guess what? we get illegal immigrants and lazy bums loafing all day. Its not rocket science.

We’ll just keep voting in congressional elections and pretend it matters.

I definitely like the idea of cutting off welfare after 60 days if they quit a job. 120 if fired. And I definitely think a lifetime capo all benefits should’ve implemented. Perhaps 5 years total. Real disabled exempted. I’d drop the SSI rights way and rename it the blind, bedridden fund. No more of this “I can’t walk or my back hurts” as a reason for benefits.

Hi. Understood. Anything like that would do a great deal of hood for the country and for the individuals involved
