That’s what I don’t understand - why not ‘put him under’ before the death? Doctor’s do it all the time - of course with most of us we wake up after the surgery’s done. A killer wouldn’t wake up. But it’s the same concept.

Why? How is the onset of unconsciousness from a sedative different than the onset of unconsciousness from passing out from oxygen deprivation?
