Elon Musk lays wreath at Auschwitz after private tour with Ben Shapiro and European rabbi

Elon Musk went on a private tour of Auschwitz ahead of a day of engagement with European Jewish leaders.

A delegation from the European Jewish Association conference in Krakow, where Musk is a featured speaker, is scheduled to visit the Nazi concentration camp on Tuesday. But the tech magnate — who has received criticism for allowing and abetting antisemitism on X, formerly Twitter, the social media platform he owns — instead visited on Monday “due to schedule concerns,” conference participants were told.

Musk traveled with Ben Shapiro, the Jewish right-wing pundit; EJA Chairman Rabbi Menachem Margolin, who is affiliated with the Chabad Hasidic movement; and Gidon Lev, an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor who was imprisoned at a different concentration camp as a child. Musk also brought along one of his young sons and carried him on his shoulders through the camp, including under the infamous “Arbeit Macht Frei” (“Work Makes One Free”) sign at the camp’s entrance, according to pictures distributed by EJA.

Musk laid a wreath and took part in a memorial ceremony, according to the Jewish group. A video shows him getting a tour from an Auschwitz guide and standing during a memorial prayer. Musk did not immediately elaborate on the visit on X, though he did share a picture of himself and Shapiro there.

May God get through to Elon and save his soul if he isnt already. may the stark reality of what happened to God’s people move him to seek Christ.

Auschwitz is hallowed ground. I’ve heard people who visited say that it was a very moving experience , to visit a place where so much evil occurred.

He’s not except in the sense that we are all sinners who need to be saved by God’s grace. Those who imagine themselves standing before the throne of God based on their own merits and coming out of the encounter OK are deluding themselves.

I sincerely and truly wish that Orthodox Jews would do what conservative Catholic and Orthodox chrstians do . . . fight against the current crisis with theology instead of tolerance.

At one time Catholics in the US were a persecuted minority and the Orthodox still are, but you don't hear them pushing enlightenment liberalism and secularism as their justification for existence. Where is the loud and public teaching of the Noahide Laws? And a Chabad rabbi should certainly be preaching the Noahide laws to the world, not secular "tolerance."

BTW, way back when Catholics were a persecuted minority, they actually played the "tolerance" card too. They even opposed prayer and Bible reading in public schools!

Where did I judge him? I said “IF”... i was very clear about that-

But beyond that fact, listening to his views on god, it seems he is not saved and doesnt understand god. I would no sooner go to a church by him as i would andy stanley based on whzt both of them beleive and state- but that doesnt mean that either are unsaved BUT i can and should make judgements about whether or not to listen to either based on what they say- he bible actuslly tells us to judge thins like that. UT i actually gave him the benefit of doubt and said “IF” he isn’t saved. I thought that was pretty clear?

Musk allowed greater free speech Twitter.

The ADL condemned Musk of allowing more "hate speech" and "anti-Semitism."

Musk wasn't invited just to tour AUschwitz, or offer words of sympathy. Jewish groups expect results. After the tour, he'll likely be asked how he now feels about "hate speech" on Twitter?

If Musk doesn't clamp down on speech, he'll be accused of "having learned nothing" at Auschwitz.

There’s no judgment being shown there...I don’t know about “writing” out a prayer in a forum but he was praying for his soul and therefore his eternity. Nothing judgmental about that - actually very loving.

I’ll vouch. It’s horrible. The train tracks coming in. The expansive room filled with suitcases. The death showers. The ovens where bodies were cremated. …

A lot of Polish people were killed there too. It’s estimated the German Nazis killed around 2 million Polish people with a goal of eventually replacing all Poles with German settlers.

I highly recommend going. It will give you an idea of just how massive the genocide machine was. A bit out of the way but easy enough to take the tour. Also, go see the Schindler factory memorial too in Krakow. Luckily the muslims haven’t invaded Poland (the new government will probably bring them in) or they would turn it in to a mosque.

As much as I’m trying not to I have this in reply to the marxist democrats trying to force “15 minute cities” on the serfs. “Oświęcim was a 15 minute city.”
