Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican, on Friday invoked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's own speech he recently made to argue against the United States providing more aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
As the Russia-Ukraine war nears its two-year anniversary next month, Zelensky on Tuesday made an address before the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he called for renewed peace talks and the imposition of more and harsher economic sanctions against Moscow.
"We need you in Ukraine to build, to reconstruct, to restore our lives," the Ukrainian president said. "Each of you can be even more successful with Ukraine."
According to a Tuesday report from The New York Times, Zelensky made no mention in the speech of Ukraine needing "more weapons" in the form of continued military aid. President Joe Biden has in recent weeks urged Congress to pass his $60 billion proposed aid request for Ukraine, amid reported concerns that former President Donald Trump could drastically slash aid provisions to the war-torn nation if reelected in November.

I think that is the simplistic 'dualism' of these folks. A third or fourth perspective flummoxes them.
Yes, from the get-go. It’s been either support war, or you are a Russian spy. It’s actually a page out of Hillary’s, Russia! Russia! Russia! playbook.
There's that binary thinking we've all come to know and loath!
Mr. Preston, there is a likelihood that two conservatives might, from time to time, disagree, one with the other. Such is the nature of liberty.
These few years with Free Republic, I have found it interesting how potential disagreements so easily blow up into outright invective and more. It makes me think that liberals, who hate disagreement, are here in a number more than just a few. Rather like Limbaugh's "seminar callers."
And at least one Green Party DC Statehood candidate who seems firmly on the side of Biden's foreign policy. And another who likes to quote a Biden supporter / endorser in the last election. Not conservative, by any means.
Well said Worldtravler, and I expect their noise to get louder as Project Ukraine collapses. Enormous amounts of money, global power, and perhaps the fate of NATO are at risk. If the West hadn’t shown itself to be untrustworthy, I think this would have ended by now. Any off-ramp will not be friendly for what remains of Ukraine.
I'm not saying to cut Ukraine off, rather spend it on bringing them back to their feet.
OK, However do it carefully, Capitalistic & Free Market oriented, absolutely NO GloboHomoTrannyPedo insider corruption of the market, and USA needs first, before we send anything overseas.
Continue arming them, providing intel and advisors to make any additional Russian military action costly...
Absolutely NOT!
That's what prompted the entire Uke Nazi Cabal to believe they could get away with Piracy of the area's natural resources, and product in the first place.
They've lost their right to use force for any purpose.
Screw 'em.
Zelensky will never agree to a cease fire and peace talks until he is cut off by Congress. And he must know and understand he has to give up the pro-Russian populated eastern oblasts - those east of the Dnieper River.
Everything we make fun of about the Russians applies to us as well. We are no different.
Look at it as the price of doing business. Just like a business has all these incured costs because of the EPA and EEOC etc. If government is involved, there is always a political and economic considerations that are applied, i.e. make oneself look good and ones opponent bad, make sure those backing your party and campaign make their money.
School lunches
Covid
The food pyramid
Vaccines
Immigration
The border wall

Every so called environmental program

Even NASA
The government is incapable of merely being objective and pragmatic in its decision making. Government is a political apparatus and the politicians and their parties live off the money the big corporations and oligarchs who also own the MSM give them. Everything they touch becomes political in nature.
I'm going back to Trolling Zeepers.
