WASHINGTON. DC – As the pro-life movement victoriously marks the 50th National March for Life, abortion clinic closures are celebrated around the nation. Millions of courageous and caring individuals and groups have gathered and marched in solidarity for the rights of preborn children in Washington, D.C., for decades.
This year’s national March for Life is being held three days prior to the anniversary of that horrendously unjust decision and less than two years after the anniversary of the day it was finally overturned – June 24, 2022. For pro-lifers, the celebration of that day continues, but the fight to protect innocent, preborn children also rages on.
Operation Rescue’s 2022 Annual Survey, released just five months after Roe’s overturn, revealed that 88 abortion clinics had closed. And the 2023 survey identified another 49 closures, totaling 137 abortion clinic closures in the last two years.
Since the late November release of the 2023 survey, Operation Rescue has learned of a small number of other abortion clinic closures and openings. Those updates will be included in the 2024 annual survey.
The annual survey identifies trends, including types of abortions performed, increasing lack of safeguards, methods and cost of abortions, and wait times. This first-hand data often dispels the talking points of the pro-abortion mainstream media.
“Today we march in victory!” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.
“We know that Roe is dead, and more and more abortion mills have closed. Fewer babies are dying today than in 1973, but our work is far from over. We will not relent until every abortion mill is piled up on the ash heap of history.
“Not only do we strive to keep the public informed of the corrupt abortion industry’s dark, horrid underbelly, but we work closely with boots-on-the-ground pro-lifers across the country to save lives of innocent babies by nailing shut the doors of these wretched killing centers for good!”

Now, if we could only recover the 63-million Americans murdered in U.S. abortions to date...
Great stuff.
This is important and why they are going so insane b
They have only closed in red states. I am sure there are plenty of vacation abortion destinations around the country.
Praise God! May this trend continue for the glorious Name of Jesus!
Pyrrhic victory. Abortion will soon be legal in every state.
Great news! We’ll be up to our necks in future rappers, mooselimb terrorists and fat mongrel children!!! YAAAAAAY!!!
So? Then red states will get more voters and better economy.
Seems likely. Women, in general, are voting for abortion. Not that they are planning on having an abortion themselves. They just don't want to be told they can *never* have one. Pretty much the stance of most suburban women I have ever met.
Correct. We need to recognize that and move on. Last time I checked, we live in a democracy. We have to follow the will of the people. If every state wants to legalize abortion, so be it.
“I am sure there are plenty of vacation abortion destinations around the country.”
Now that it is in the hands of the people at state level, they can decider how they want to determine the process and not the federal government with the misuse of Roe. Major win for the voters.

Great Post, and AMEN. All done thru the power of prayer.
Amen 🙏🏻!!!!
Well said.
It went specifically to the states and guess what THEY'RE doin' ?
We live in a Republic. The Constitution has many anti-majoritarian provisions.
Following the will of the majority gives you a lynch mob.
If a majority of your State should decide that you and people like you should be killed and your property appropriated to the State so as to reduce taxes for the majority, would you approve the will of the people?
