A trio lashed a 13-year-old boy with belts before ripping off his sneakers in a vicious Brooklyn mugging last week, cops said.
The group – two men and a woman – approached the youngster around 3:15 p.m. Friday at 17th Street and Fourth Avenue in South Slope and struck him with belts multiple times before pulling his kicks straight off his feet, police said.
The trio then fled into the nearby Prospect Avenue train station, where they hopped on a Manhattan-bound R train, authorities said.

Hopped on a train, they did.

I’m guessing those kicks must have been favorites of gangsters and thugs. Collecting high dollar shoes has always been one of those black things we white people don’t understand.
The scary thing now is that offensive/defensive metal belts are trending with the street thugs. Those things tear flesh.
More white supremacists masquerading in black face I presume
OH NO NO NO NO! None of this "dark complexion" crap! These weren't "tanning salon Barbies"! That's "Black" - with the obligatory capital "B"! You don't get to have it both ways!
Blacks and sneakers.....i will never get it.
I have some acquaintances that admit their own large sneaker collection.
Kinda like owning/showing a Cadillac....except 300 pairs of them..
cultural enhancers at work
Yep. The euphemism “also had a dark complexion” doesn’t fool anybody. It’s a black crime wave. This was a particularly cruel and senseless crime. How much can used sneakers be worth?
NYC aka Hell on Earth II

Offensive defensive metal belts?

Mau Maus doing what dey spose to do.
This will continue to such an extent that you’ll get used to it as an everyday occurrence.
