"What is wrong with HughesNet?....."Very, very slow. Huge latencies, plus low data caps. Very expensive if someone is trying to work from home.
All those problems went away with Starlink.

That was years ago. Not so much any more. Data caps are gone and the speeds have improved a great deal.

My daughter and her family had it when they lived out in the sticks and never had any problems that I’m aware of.
But they weren’t using it for business or gaming..............
