Back after 911 I was in a meeting with the FAA, the guy started the briefing with: “Here at the FAA our motto is We aren’t happy until you aren’t happy.”
With the DoD for 31 years I had two experiences that stood out in proving the idiocy of the federal government.
1. The IT security guy that had to SEE me and my government ID to grant me permissions to access the facility network was legally blind.
2. Strict policy stated that anyone in shop floor work areas must at a minimum wear ear plugs for hearing protection........even the totally deaf machinist. 🤷
They want to kill us.
The “Georgia Guidestones” may be gone, but the agenda remains.
That’s funny
I really don’t understand what passes for liberal woketard thinking. It is a simple fact that even simple people should be able to understand. Everyone is not good at everything. It is not “discriminatory” to be selective in regards to who does what. Just because you wanted to be a fireman when you were little doesn’t mean you are qualified to actually be one as an adult. If it hurts your feelings, too bad. I’m sure you’ll get over it and find another career. Of course the one that really needs another career is the simp who decides the identity boxes that need to be checked rather that actual skills.

There is an existing legislation. which subsidized hiring people with disabilities!
So companies can use people with disabilities, and they do, especially since they get the subsidy.
But forcing quotas will mess thing up. Will create big paperwork, force hiring people on places where they are not needed and cannot be used, and will actually created net loss of jobs for these people.
E.g. small exempt businesses will almost never hire people of color, since they will run into trouble, if they need to lay them off. All that government protections are actually probably reducing the jobs available for the “protected “
classes.
i deprogrammed my friends teenagers on this subject.
all it took was a little common sense dialogue.
this is a paraphrase of the conservation i had with them.
them : discrimination is bad
me: is all discrimination bad ?
them: yes.
me: who told you that ?
them: we learned that at school
me: if you went to make your lunch to take to school , and the baloney was green with black mold growing on it , would it be a bad thing to discriminate against it and not use it for your lunch sandwich ?
them : no.
me: then not all discrimination is bad. the reasons for discrimination are what is good or bad. .
Or even better what if the cook at the school cafeteria is blind and can’t see the mold on the meat? Then your teenage friend isn’t the only one who gets sick.
I haven’t flown in over 20 years. Now I know I’ll never do it again. They say it’s safer to fly than drive... not anymore!
“There is an existing legislation. which subsidized hiring people with disabilities!”
I have absolutely no problem with that.
Saw it many times in the DoD, but limits must be placed on what positions may be held for obvious reasons......to any sane common sense person anyway
JOE BIDEN is available to pilot planes if you need him...
Yes, I like that one too.
Disabled persons are probably the only ones who really need some support (private or governmental). Yet, most of them can contribute in some limited or special way.
In era of minimum wages, they may be priced out of work. So some pay subsidy for them is probably the best way to help them.
And employers respond to that incentives.
For example our grocery store employs several mentally deficient people. They may not be rocket scientists, but they can serve as baggers.
Blind people excel on musical instrument industry and
I know several great blind engineers.
So disable people can fit into the society and thrive, if given job they can actually do! But they have to be creative!
One of the greatest examples was Bob Dole. He wanted to be a MD, but got seriously disabled in WWII. He figured out, he could not do good job as MD (MD’s need a good use of hands!), so he switched to lawyer and then politician. Made a great carrier (He would made a great president in 1996!)
The worst think to people happen when government forces employers to hire them into positions they cannot do good job at! Both the employer and the employee get eventually frustrated and everybody is unhappy!
Just imagine Bob Dole trying to make brain surgery with one hand!
They can just recruit from the White House.
The DS loathingly plants diversely-destructive seeds into this once great nation!
Job program for democrats.
Trying to bring the FAA into line with the rest of the Administration?
