Let me make this real clear to those folks that keep talking about "democracy, human rights and sovereignty" when discussing Ukraine. Ukraine is none of those. The have a horrible human rights record, they are not a democracy, and they are not sovereign.
Ukraine may be the first nation, I don't know of any other, where the real authority running the place is a US bank (JPMC) and asset management company (Blackrock).

Wouldn’t you think that a Latino TV channel that champions EVERY perceived social injustice against their community would report about the US State Department under Biden knowing about a US journalist and Latino incarcerated in Ukraine and not doing anything for him as he dies?

When Kashoggi died Trump was in office and that story was intended to hurt him since the US was signing one of the biggest arms deals ever with Saudi Arabia at that time.

I followed the twitter feed for a while.
He was accused of spreading Russia propaganda. I suppose Tucker could be accused of the same thing. Sounds like free speech to me.
It was stated that he gave “Ukrainian positions to Russians.” That would be serious, if true.
Is he American, Chilean, dual citizen?
Was he tortured? It has been asserted, not denied. Did he die in a Ukrainian prison? Seems undeniable. We don’t even have the assertion that he committed suicide, a la Epstein.
It seems clear that this is another black eye for Zelensky and the Ukraine. You are not supposed to die in prison.
This story deserves to be reported in the US press, but it seems to be getting the silent treatment - like when Stalin murdered 7 million Ukrainians. By all accounts Putin is a bastard. If only he were a communist, our press would treat him with deference.
Silence is a powerful tool. That the MSM marches in lockstep with one another is frightening in itself. No room for the individual, as Fox News demonstrates from time to time.
Those doing so are every bit the enemy any leftist is.

A US journalist was imprisoned for 7 months and is dead, and no one finds this newsworthy material.
The news gets to pick what they talk about, when, and how they spin things, in social media what they label as mis/dis-information and censor... They “may” eventually and briefly mention this, but then they won’t make a big deal out of it and maybe even spin it in a derogatory way for Lira. Why? They support this war and the President responsible for it, Biden.
It must be nice when you have 75-80% of the MSM in your pocket.
When this war was exactly one year old, 214 Americans had been killed in action. Many more are crippled. Little coverage.
In the Latino media (owned by our liberal MSM), you hear nothing about Ukraine heavily recruiting in Central and South America, entire units being comprised by them, and the horrible losses they have suffered (in particular folks from Columbia and Brazil).
In our media, you see nothing about some of the weapons given to Ukraine ending up in Gaza, and in fact the video of such (clearly British made NLAW) gets taken down...
The canceling of elections in Ukraine gets little coverage, as does all the pro-Russian political officials that have been flat out assassinated (11 so far that are known of). The banning of opposition parties, closing of radio stations that air derogatory things, mass censorship and limits on free speech (they banned owning a HAM radio in Ukraine because you might listen to something you’re not supposed to) all gets little coverage.

Today, if you want true investigative or objective reporting, you are nearly forced to look at outlets that are wacky, fringe, conspiratorial, or smaller players like Tucker Carlson etc. The MSM is lockstep right down party lines.
The MSM may as well be seen as an unofficial extension and public relations branch of the Democratic party.
