Why did we take our oaths of office over a Bible in the first place? Because the Bible describes the purpose of an oath... blessings for keeping your word and curses in failure. In the oath, you ask God to help you be faithful to your word... “so help me, God!” Do not take an oath lightly!
There is no such teaching the Quran... just the opposite. Lying is encouraged if it furthers the cause of submission of the infidel.
