He is desperate, and he should be. The world is an uglier and an uglier place under Biden. Nearly no one believes the country is moving in the right direction. Americans are deeply dissatisfied with the economy; America is experiencing an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis; and the world seems to be on fire, from the Middle East to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Biden himself is clearly ailing; as comedian Shane Gillis recently said, “My favorite thing about Biden is anytime Biden finishes a speech, he transforms into a Roomba.” This is clearly true. In fact, after Biden’s recent diatribe against Donald Trump at Valley Forge, Dr. Jill Biden — the greatest physician in all the land — charged up on the stage like a shepherd attempting to pen in a wandering sheep, corralling the president toward the back of the stage.
So, what can Biden do?
He can pull out all the scare tactics he knows.
And that’s precisely what he’s doing, fully 10 months from the 2024 election.
His campaign is predicated on two main issues: Trump, and also Trump.
First, Biden argues, Donald Trump is apparently a threat to democracy. Biden stated at Valley Forge, “Donald Trump’s campaign is obsessed with the past, not the future. He’s willing to sacrifice our democracy, put himself in power.” He said this in the middle of a speech about the evils of Jan. 6 — while labeling Trump an insurrectionist, which presumably would disqualify Trump from the ballot. Biden’s own Department of Justice has hit Trump with two separate federal criminal cases, one in Florida, the other in Washington, D.C.
It is, in other words, a tough case to make that Trump is the true threat to democracy, while Biden is democracy’s...

President Donald Trump now leads Joe Biden by twelve points in Michigan. The Democrat Biden took the battleground state in 2020 by a very narrow margin. The Detroit News and WDIV-TV released the new statewide poll on Tuesday. When given a list of Trump, Biden, and third-party candidates, Trump led Biden by 12 points.
“Trump’s lead over Biden widened to as much as 12 points when voters surveyed were given a list of third party candidates. Biden, the current president, and Trump, the former president, are widely expected to emerge this year as their parties’ nominees.”
In a hypothetical head-to-head match-up between just the current president and the former, 39 percent of likely general election voters said they prefer Biden, while 47 percent support Trump.
The pollsters report, “47% of likely voters said they preferred the Republican, while 39% selected Biden, an 8-point advantage for Trump, according to the survey with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 points. In addition, 3% said they would vote for another candidate, and 11% said they were undecided.”
“If I were a Democrat in Michigan, I would be breaking the emergency fire alarms in the White House and demanding to know what the plan is for Michigan,” Richard Czuba, founder of Lansing-based Glengariff Group, which conducted the poll, told The Detroit News. “Because these numbers are very bad for any party incumbent.”
When asked if they believe Biden had performed well enough to deserve to be reelected, only 17 percent said he deserves another shot — 77 percent said that they were ready for a new leader.
Asked the same question about Trump, 33 percent of the poll’s respondents said Trump deserves a second term, while 62 percent said they would prefer someone else.
The Detroit News reports: The survey found 58% of those polled had an unfavorable impression of Biden.....a significant drop in support for a former two-term vice president and longtime U.S. senator from Delaware. In September 2020, ahead of the November 2020 election, a similar poll of likely Michigan voters found 43% had a favorable impression of Biden.
Likewise, 50% of participants in the new survey said they “strongly” disapproved of the job Biden is doing as president. Another 11% said they somewhat disapprove for a total disapproval percentage of 61%. Only 35% said they approve of Biden’s performance, and 4% didn’t offer an answer.
“He is who he is. And that’s who he’s going to be. I can expect Trump to be Trump,” Bennario Chapman, a 29-year-old self-described independent from Muskegon who participated in the poll, told the pollsters. “And I can go for somebody who stands in their own truth. Biden is not that.”
Young people already think the world is ending without massive government intervention, so it might be a good strategy.

After Biden’s recent diatribe against Donald Trump, when he desecrated Valley Forge and dishonored George Washington, his personal “physician” Dr. Jill charged up on the stage like a gangster evading the law, apprehending the dimwit president and perp-walked him to the exit.

We complain about Obama's "Fundamental Transformation".
We say everything is screwed up, and we look back fondly a earlier times when things were better in so many ways.
We mourn the destruction of the Middle Class in America.
And then someone posts a story about how young people are struggling, wages from a full-time job are not enough to pay rent, DEI and human resource policies make work environments toxic, taxes and regulations strangle business, middle management has largely been eliminated thus making promotions much less likely (fewer slots) so that many entry-level jobs have no potential for ever being more than entry-level.
And the typical Freeper response is to berate struggling young people, say it's their fault, tell them to work harder, and then tell stories about how cheap their apartment was back in 1982.
Maybe someday these young people will want to be Conservatives. But from what I see today, Conservatives have no empathy for struggling people -- "I did it -- so get off your ass and you do it too". This doesn't help. This convinces young people that only Big Government cares about them or is willing to lend a sympathetic ear.

As a conservative, I do have empathy for struggling people.
However, as a conservative, I have ZERO EMPATHY for LAZY struggling young people. TOO MANY young people were raised on the idea of “participation trophies” for all. That kills the desire to work for success
STOP expecting the government to take care of you like your parents did.
