White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby could not answer a reporter’s question at Wednesday’s press briefing on whether Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is still in the hospital or has been released. Kirby opened his part of the briefing by telling reporters that Austin had participated in a briefing Tuesday with Joe Biden and other national security principals on the conflicts in the Red Sea and Middle East.
Later, when asked where Austin was when he took part in the briefing, a pained looking Kirby shook his head in frustration and said Austin was in the hospital when he took part in the briefing of Biden on Tuesday, but referred reporters to the Pentagon for information on the current whereabouts and condition of Austin, indicating a continuing failure by the White House to stay up to date on Austin.

I'm reminded if the old Soviet Union, when a higher up fell out of favor, they would disappear with the excuse "so and so is in ill health, and is recovering in their dacha by the Black Sea.".
He could if he wanted to. Of course. That little muppet could give straight answers too, if she ever wanted to, but the Biden regime could not survive the truth getting out. So it won’t get out.
Maybe he WAS killed in Kyiv last week and they’re still trying to find a body double.
At the very least, a picture with him holding the newspaper of the day with the date visible would put the kibosh on the speculatiin.

One source suspects that Austin was injured in the Jan 2 (give or take a day or two) Russian take-down of a NATO base in Western Ukraine. He didn’t provide any evidence, just notes that the timing was exactly when Austin dropped off the map.
Who knows, but obviously, there’s more going on than we’re being told.
So, if Fat Ass Austin was inside Ukraine territory, he was a legitimate military target. Playing badass in a warzone is never a good idea.
