Ping!.....................
I stopped watching NFL years ago ,along with every other sport.
It’s just to keep your eye off, the real happenings going on.
It’s about the bucks. The greedy MFers want the money. Then while they present the broadcast and it has glitches and the stream reboots a lot and it sucks. Plus half the broadcasting assholes suck along with their advertiser’s suck. Its an experience you can get. It all measures up with your early morning defacatiion If your morning duties come out well and the broadcast of the game is not a basket of 💩, hooray. I’m pissed but it is what it is IIWII.
How do you think they get those big homes with the boats parked out back?
The NCAA is right there too with the NFL, had to subscribe ($55 month) for a month to one of those subscriptions see two games in the CFP. Now the west coast power teams joined the Big10 starting this year. So just like cable is (dumped that about a decade ago) you are subsidizing the same free BS as before like the MSM.
The earliest form of pay-per-view was closed-circuit television, also known as theatre television, where professional boxing telecasts were broadcast live to a select number of venues, mostly theaters, where viewers paid for tickets to watch the fight live.[2][3] The first fight with a closed-circuit telecast was Joe Louis vs. Jersey Joe Walcott in 1948.[4]
I have to agree with Mike. Even NASCAR will be streaming in 2025...
What is NFL?
All pro sports are leveraged to the hilt. From parking to concessions and tickets. The teams utilize demographics and know how many people in a given area will pay X amount for whatever and they are targeted and catered to. After being a season ticket holder of the Orlando Magic for 9 years I finally opted out and now I watch zero professional sports.
And given that I cut my cable a year or so ago the networks that carry their games don't get a nickel from me from cable fees.
So...no ratings...and no money...from me.
Zero?
Just another NFL game not to watch.
Michigan cheats. Michigan gets rewarded for cheating. I’m out. It’s not just pro ball.
My first memory of NFL is from a little b/w cathode ray gizmo. Unitas my first football hero. Haven’t watched more than a few minutes since the Great Kneeling. Not a moment this season. It’s like the first wife, just part of my past.
The NFL continues its inevitable decline, soon to join boxing as a sport that was once the most viewed sport on television.
If you know where to go you can watch any sporting event free online. Stream it to your phone or iPad and Cast it from there to your big screen TV.
Like ESPN wanting me to pay for a $40/month subscription in order to watch the NCAA Championship Game. I watched a free movie on another channel instead.
“Mike added, “How many people in America don’t even know what streaming is?” ... referencing the scores of fans who don’t have access to the streaming platform.”
Mike ain’t up with the times - or thinks football fans are as stupid as Biden.
In Arizona, the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Coyotes (hockey) are broadcasting ALL their scheduled games on over the air TV.
Almost every night, a professional sports team is on for FREE.
This contrasts to the NFL’s streaming ventures.
Is it a playoff game or TSwift concert?
