The most feared day for coaches in the NFL is here: Black Monday.
Which coaches and coordinators will be fired now that the regular season is over?
The Falcons did not waste any time and fired Arthur Smith just after midnight, and Ron Rivera received the axe Monday morning.
Three coaches were canned during the season including Josh McDaniels of the Las Vegas Raiders, Frank Reich of the Carolina Panthers and Brandon Staley from the Los Angeles Chargers.
Who’s on the coaching hot seat today? There have been rumblings coming out of New England that legendary coach Bill Belichick’s future is up in the air.

How many imagined that Tom Landry would get fired?
The new Jeff Fisher.
I’m not that familiar with him. But I saw one of the ESPN analysts talking breathlessly about him. But wasn’t USC fairly mediocre?
Rivera is a woke California liberal. A perfect fit for the District of Corruption and the ridiculous “Commanders. “
They fired him anyway. Gotta be racist, right?
I suspect with your football acumen, that CNN or ESPN (specifically) will be giving you a call shortly.
The Washington franchise will be cursed until they are the Redskins again.
I doubt I would last long at CNN or ESPN. My first statement revealing that I’m MAGA and not a Christie-Republican and I’m out the door like Rush.
USC QBs of late don't have a very good record - Sam Darnold being the most recent bust.
The disappointment from Belichick haters is palatable... They were huffing and puffing and hoping beyond hope that they would awake to the greatest coach of all time being fired... But maybe Kraft isn’t as dumb as he looks.
There are 32 teams in the NFL, and only 31 of them would fire their current head coach’s and hire Bill Belichick in a split second.
Their defense was terrible to nonexistent.
I live in Louisville and they beat Louisville in the bowl. Louisville was around 9th or so at one point but they really petered out, ending their season with loses to Kentucky, Florida State and USC. I was wrong. I thought Alabama would destroy Michigan because I tend to think the Big Ten is overrated and nothing against top SEC teams.
I never thought I would see the day when Belichick might be fired.
Why- players and coaches under contract are never fired?? and he signed the deal long before the 2023 season which was i believe a two year extension
Belichick posted the best winning percentage for the Browns between Bud Carson and Gregg Williams (28 year period).
Defensive coordinators are not in vogue for HC positions. If Quinn gets any job it will be the Cowboys job, if Dallas does not make a deep run into the playoffs
they usually are
Wasn’t gonna say it, but he sure is.
I predict the USC Quarterback will be one of the biggest busts in NFL history.
It would be hard to surpass Ryan Leaf and Johnny Manizel.
Black Friday good.
Black Monday good.
NFL Black Monday bad.
NFL bad.
Which is the problem. The question always winds up being is the team actually changing their culture as part of this coaching turnover, or are they just re-arranging deck chairs? Most of the time it’s the later.
