U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin has been hospitalized since the first day of 2024, and while Pentagon officials have not said when he will be released, they continue to avoid saying why he went to the hospital in the first place.
Austin was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last Monday, for what Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder described as complications from an elective medical procedure.
On Sunday, Ryder told Fox News that Austin had an elective medical procedure at Walter Reed on Dec. 22, 2023. Austin was on leave at the time of the procedure, and he returned home the next day.

I suspect the elective procedure angle is total BS in an effort to downplay what’s really going on.....because as we know that barrel of snakes lies as easily as the rest of us breath.
I would say a spinectomy but that was done years ago.
He tested positive in August 2022 also...second time.

Having a SecDef in the hospital isn't a big problem. There is of course a plan for that kind of event.
The really strange thing is that it's been kept secret.
Thinking about it more, it appears he was home for a week, so that’s kind of long after a “precedure” for it to be sepsis. I’m going with pneumonia.

He met with NET on December 19th. If he has Covid...which is what I think...he’s exposed a whole bunch of important people.
I think he had a hernia operation, and complications came up 2 or 3 days later.
Now, if you asked me over him having serious blood pressure issues...I might be agree to that as well.

First, he looks as healthy as Biden, which is not good.
2nd, why would they tell Biden he was hospitalized, Biden does nothing but read teleprompters once a week, he’s not in charge.
