Judicial Watch and Tom Fitton are the best!  These guy are heroes of the Republic.  Coverage of this trial will surely expose the January 6th fraud and lead to the release of our MAGA patriots who have waited too long to get their lives and freedom back!

Should be an interesting lawsuit. This definitely opens up discovery since the Capital police supposedly investigated the incident and said deadly force was justified. This should allow the plaintiffs access to the reports, planning, and any action prior to and after the incident.

Nancy may be $hitting bricks by the time this goes to trial. Expect a large settlement offer to keep things quiet.

Needed to happen! Looks to be competent representation.

Discovery is probably exactly what this is about.

That’s the only hope they have as a DC jury will acquit.

“We witnessed a cold hearted murder and a media and government who thinks that’s OK.”

And that POS got a promotion and a raise, one can only hope karma will even things out.

Obviously there was a premeditated plan and the security forces were going to be an obstacle to their dirty plans.

Not a criminal proceeding. Lower threshold for the plaintiff. They don’t have the prove beyond a reasonable doubt, just a preponderance of the evidence.

Where this gets sticky for the defense is the shooting report was never made public. I believe the Capital Police only released the result. Now they will have to give the plaintiffs the entire report to include interviews, forensics, and initial witness statements.

It could also open the door to prior planning by not only the Capital Police (and Pelosi’s involvement) relevant video prior to and just after, and the officer’s propensity to mis-handle firearms.
That’s why I think they won’t take the risk of discovery and offer a sizable settlement.

IN THE EXTREME- He could have EASILY pulled Ashli Babbitt through the window, bringing her face first down into the hard tiled floor severely injuring her, and rendering her incapacitated or hurt to the degree she was neutralized, instead of using lethal force.

This cold-blooded murderer was promoted last August by CPD Chief Manger and or in conjunction with a recommendation by a a CPD promotion board. spit

The cold-blooded murderer had also left his service weapon in a restroom at the Capitol Bldg. He inferred that he would be treated differently by way of a reprimand because he was a Lieutenant, however, his contemporaries took the comment to mean that he would be treated differently (harsher) because of you know racism. spit

Just watched a video of "officer" Byrd who killed Ashli Babbitt admit that he never saw Ashli's hands.

A cop will always, (or should) see a threat, (knife, gun, stick etc.) to his or someone else's life before taking deadly force on an individual.

And yet this cop admits that he never even saw Ashli's hands!

To top it off, right after he shot Ashli he either lied or tried to cover up the killing.
(See below)

This is not the first time this guy has been reckless with his gun.
(Left it in a bathroom once)

2:45pm or ~1m AFTER shooting, USCP Lt Byrd radio call: “We got shots fired in lobby. We got shots shots fired in lobby of House chamber.

SHOTS ARE BEING FIRED AT US & we're sh, uhh, PREPARED to fire back at them. We have guns drawn”

Byrd lied

I understand that he has been called a hero and has been promoted, Captain I believe!

Oh, I also heard that he was squirreled away to some air force base right after the shooting and never faced an inquiring like every police officer everywhere face after a shooting!☹️
Especially a killing!

Its out of Judicial Watch’s wheelhouse. They better have a real personal injury law firm partnering.

A good point...Maybe Aaron Babbitt could not find a lawyer who is willing to represent him? Who knows?

Now Judicial Watch will send out emails asking for donations because of this...Judicial Watch does need donations to survive...

Justice Department makes a "good" settlement offer to Judicial Watch...But, Judicial Watch refuses to tell Aaron Babbitt about it...It wants to continue the lawsuit, hoping that people would make more donations to Judicial Watch...

I hope that the scenario I just described does not happen...I think Aaron Babbitt needs a good legal representation...I hope that Judicial Watch will do that, even if that means it will get less donation from people...

Yes there was shooting, by the police officer. If there was so much “danger” then why did he only shoot once? If the capitol police stands behind officers who shoot the unarmed, then I’m glad I live hours and a few hundred miles away.

BTW I’ve never been to the capitol. Are there signs prohibiting entrance to certain areas posted with “USE OF DEADLY FORCE AUTHORIZED” in clear red letters printed at the bottom?

Reason I asked was when I was in the USAF, I was sometimes required to be armed. Those signs were abundant where I was and the red letter warning wasn’t on all of them. The red letter signs were in areas rarely seen by civilians.

We were always briefed on when to shoot and not to shoot. Had one of my troops shot somebody like the capitol officer did, I would have made it my life goal to make sure he went to federal prison for a long time or at least never be allowed to carry a gun again.

Lt. Byrd claiming that shots were fired - but his shooting Ashli Babbitt are apparently the only shots.
