No evening of post-Claudine Gay resignation hot takery would be complete without MSNBC’s Joy Reid weighing in. And weigh in she did- by claiming, without evidence, that Gay was “taken out” in order to make room for the guys “who used to have” the presidencies of elite universities in the 50s. Watch as Reid concocts a theory behind Gay’s resignation that requires neither the words “antisemitism” nor “plagiarism”: JOY REID: I do just want to pivot to another thing. Because there's another thing happening, Jelani. There- there is this sort...

Joy Reid: Claudine Gay Was Ousted So White Dudes Can Run Harvard Again

If that means Harvard presently is being run by not-white dudes and dudettes, current events and results are illustrative of their values and competence.

Well Joy, let’s be honest. Ms. Gay was not hired due to her qualifications. It wasn’t her business acumen, leadership of large and important organizations, national presence as a thought leader, etc.

She was hired because she was not a white male. Because that is somehow useful or important. We should learn to love one another, dividing people or biasing on color doesn’t further that effort.

Hope they hire a competent and wise replacement. It is the right thing to do.

Claudine Gay’s worship of DEI was bound to end in failure
since DEI exalts human frailties...... and not just anywhere.

Gay exploited human weaknesses in a place-—Harvard-—
which charges extraordinary costs to do just the opposite.

One educated at Harvard is expected to be among the best and brightest........
not resemble a needy dithering halfwit dependent on DEI to get ahead.

They’re throwing the Whites out of South Africa so the blacks can run it again.

How many times did Joy Reid plagiarize someone in her papers when she was at Harvard? Somebody should check it out.

"White dudes created Harvard. White gals created your hair."

Excellent comment. I've always said that since black women hate white women so much, especially when white women take their men, you have to wonder why black women try so hard to look like white women.

Had a white, male Harvard president engaged in the exact same behavior, it would have been ignored. Nothing to see here, move along! < /sarc >

"Sad that so much stock is put in attending one of the “prestigious” institutes."

Many years ago when I was researching the black Civil War regiments from Massachusetts, I had the pleasure of meeting the grandson of one of the men who had enlisted in the 54th Massachusetts Infantry, the unit the movie "Glory" was made about. His grandfather was in fact the first man to enlist in Co. A of the unit. He had to lie about his age to enlist, and he was the last veteran of that unit to survive. Attended the last reunion at Gettysburg and made the walk across the field where Pickett's Charge took place. When he met his white Confederate counterpart at the stone wall, George's grandfather waited a split second for the white Southerner to extend his hand. "The soldier told him, 'Many years ago you were shooting at me and I was shooting at you. Thank God we both missed."

My friend George had had a career in the U.S. Army, achieved the rank of Colonel. First served in the Triple Nickel (555) Parachute Infantry Battalion, then left and joined another infantry unit when the government wouldn't allow the 555 to go to Europe, using them instead to jump and fight forest fires in this country. He served in Italy, and later in the Korean War. Told me he'd been at Heartbreak Ridge.

George had already retired from his Federal Job and was living in Lexington, Mass. with his wife when I met him. At the time, he was taking some courses at Harvard. This was in the mid-90's. I was pretty impressed, and told him I wished I could go to Harvard, and he said: "Harvard is severely over-rated, and expensive. You can get as good an education going to a two-year college, or a State University, for a whole lot less." I've always remember those words.

George and one of his sons helped organize a Company of the 54th Massachusetts re-enactment unit after the movie "Glory" came out. Sadly he passed in 2002.

Here is an idea. The Harvard Board should ask Alan Dershowitz to become the President of Harvard University for the next four years. He should accept and implement the following policies immediately:
1. Expel all the anti-Semites and tell them they can reapply in two years. Provide the names of those who are student visas to the Department of State and both houses of Congress (so both houses of Congress can monitor whether or not the State Department revoked their student visas and sent them back to their countries of origin.)
2. Ensure the admissions office fully complies with the SCOTUS ruling in Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard.
3. Investigate why Claudine Gray's plagiarism in her doctoral thesis was neither discovered by her faculty advisor nor by the board set up approve her completed dissertation manuscript. Fix any problems with the doctoral process including revoking Ms. Gray's doctorate and firing her.

And lately I've noticed some like to wear, the biggest fake eyelashes too. Even ones in different colors. They are so big they look ridiculous with them on.

Copycat Claudine Gay couldn’t even write her own answers for the congress questions she’s a 100% token but she’s in fat city with her 900K pay check she still gets and still a token just a different department.

Liberalism at it’s sweetest
