I wonder if he manages to get away with that because he's in the UK. I think an American who tried that nonsense would get sued into the ground.

Note that almost 2/3rds of the kids say it's wrong and immoral. (Catholic moral doctrine says the same thing, surprise!) Not to mention that they have to get DNA tests if they're considering marriage, especially if it's to someone conceived the same way.
