The first Rose Bowl game that I attended was exactly 50 years ago. I have attended 15 total. My favorites were 1975, in which the USC Trojans beat Ohio State with a two-point conversion, 1980, in which Trojan tailback Charles White went crazy at the end of the game and tore up the field to power USC over the Buckeyes, and 1990, when the Trojans beat the Wolverines in Bo Schembechler’s last Rose Bowl appearance.
