No.
Press release from December 28: Maine Secretary of State Decision in Challenge to Trump Presidential Primary Petitions
Then go HERE to read p.15-16, “Section C. Mr. Trump’s False Claims Regarding the 2020 Election Do Not Disqualify Him Under the Twenty-Second Amendment.”
In the final sentence of that section, it states, “Therefore, given Mr. Trump has only won a single election for President, he is not barred from being elected to the same office again under the Twenty-Second Amendment."
Well, I certainly managed to mess up those links!
Give me a few and I’ll try to figure out what I did wrong in the HTML.
An interesting development from the Maine monkey. I guess you’d have to ‘prove’ that. Talk about dumping the apple cart.

I don’t dispute his dispute. 😄
Conte, and these reporters of the event, were not there to see anything, firsthand. I think my source’s source-information was imperfect, as well, for sure.
There’s nothing academically or theologically that is very certifiable on Conte, other than he is a layman and as far as I checked, on google, it was he alone who provided it.
I copied one complaint among his more general assertions, here:
” WARNING: Do not Trust Ronald L. Conte’s Catechism of Catholic Ethics
While trying to discern my Faith and morality, I have used google to perform some research about Catholic teachings on sexual ethics in marriage, etc. I believe this is a very common search for questioning young people who have questions about the faith in this aspect of life. This website is one of the first google results if you google “Catholic Sexual Teaching” or “Catholic Sexual Ethics.”
It is a website known as www.catechism.cc. This is deceptive as it is NOT an approved church document. It is not the Catechism of the Catholic Church, as it advertises. It is the “Catechism of Catholic Ethics”, a compilation written by a man named Robert L. Conte. He claims to be a lay Catholic theologian with a bachelor’s in philosophy and theology. However, he teaches as if authoritatively, but in a very deceptive way.
This particular page makes claims that directly refute the teachings of the Theology of the Body. “....

Time will surely reveal the veracity of this story. 🤔.
Very interesting. Thanks for the follow-up.
Funny but fake.
Wish it was real.
Thank you for that info.
I suspect you are right.
🙏🙏🙏
Is this Real(?) that SNL actually went Live with this Clinton scandal? 😳
.

A very important story.
Honestly, the tentacles are into the smallest of entities as well as the large. Both have an unaccountable title, and a presence near US trouble-making, foreign and domestic.
THERE ARE REAL PEOPLE WITH NAME$ AND FACE$ BEHIND THESE ORGS.
Non-Profit Organizations NPO
Non-Government Organizations NGO
Thinking Haiti, for just one, for starters.
So how is Maine using the 22nd amendment as justification to bar PDJT from the ballot?

The decision states that is NOT the justification.
As I shared in post #801:
In the final sentence of that section (“Section C. Mr. Trump’s False Claims Regarding the 2020 Election Do Not Disqualify Him Under the Twenty-Second Amendment.”), it states, “Therefore, given Mr. Trump has only won a single election for President, he is not barred from being elected to the same office again under the Twenty-Second Amendment.”
it looks like Maine backed down

Reading the final paragraph of the decision (pdf, p.34), the Maine SoS, writes: “I will suspend the effect of my decision until the Superior Court rules on any appeal, or the time to appeal... has expired.”
“Can you explain the significance?”
