The decision states that is NOT the justification.
As I shared in post #801:
In the final sentence of that section (“Section C. Mr. Trump’s False Claims Regarding the 2020 Election Do Not Disqualify Him Under the Twenty-Second Amendment.”), it states, “Therefore, given Mr. Trump has only won a single election for President, he is not barred from being elected to the same office again under the Twenty-Second Amendment.”

Perhaps it’s that the story tellers/headline writers are purveyors of lies and have the sole aim to agitate MAGA with partial truths.
How in the name of randolph scott can an a state SOS make a determination on a constitutional issue that hasn’t been adjudicated?
For clarity, it wasn’t the SOS that proposed the 22nd action but a 3rd party.. It was the SOS that said that action didn’t apply.
