An interesting detail missed by most stories. That the earlier 911 call reported that there were *several* trying to burglarize, not just one. They then left, but then at least one, the decedent, returned.
Good detective work might discover who the other burglars were.

A grand jury no bill protects against civil lawsuits in Texas.
I note she’s getting evicted for having a firearm.
No Texas law prohibits firearms in your residence, and I believe such a lclsuse in a lease is not permitted under the Texas constitution.
