Beloved actor James McCaffrey, known for his role in the firefighter drama “Rescue Me” and as the voice of Max in the popular video game series “Max Payne,” passed away this week at the age of 65 after battling myeloma, a form of cancer.
While McCaffrey was best known for his work voicing Max in the popular video game series “Max Payne,” he also had a career in television. He had lead roles in “New York Undercover” and “Viper,” and supporting roles on shows such as “Swift Justice” and “As The World Turns.”
James has also appeared in films such as “The Truth About Cats & Dogs” and “American Splendor”, and has made guest appearances on popular shows like “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Sex and the City,” and “Jessica Jones”.
Rest in peace!
Who?
Which is TWO lies!
Never heard of him.
When it comes to the va666ine and b666sters, I certainly trust W, Bill and Barack!!
“what exactly does “iconic” mean these days?”
Same experience...don’t know the name or the face.
“9 times out of 10 I don’t recognize the people when they finally unmask”
We are right there as well.
Also I’m beginning to suspect the whole thing is rigged anyway.
When an 80s rocker gets kicked off on 80s theme night in favor of whats more than likely a black female singer......something ain’t right.
It’s gotta be rigged.
OR
The panel has a never-ending supply of trivial pursuit cards with the names of every minor celebrity and their cousins.
Their ‘guesses’ are so detailed it seems scripted.
And then they act so surprised at the unmasking like that know every one of these people.
And Nick Cannon always immediately announces their names as the mask comes off, so he knows in advance.
The only ones who don’t know is the audience..........
In this context with this person, not so much. No clue who he is or what he's done.
That said, his death is no less sad to the people who loved him.
Safe and effective turbo cancer?
Nick Cannon definitely knows.
Right before Keyshia Cole (whoever that is) got unmasked last week he referred to her as “queen”.....he would only say that if he knew who she was
‘Sorry to hear of yet another death likely hastened by the vax’
stupid comment; myeloma is a disorder of the blood in bone marrow; my wife was recenly diagnosed with it...has nothing whatsoever to do with vaccines,,,
I believe most of these ‘celebrity’ reality shows are rigged, Dancing With the Stars, definitely..................
Iconic? BS. RIP.
It means: I'm being paid according to the number of people who click on this article.
Regards,
Yeah, DWS for sure.
I realized that when they put in pro dancer Alfonso Ribeiro.
He eventually won beating out 17 y/o amature dancer Sadie Robertson.......not exactly a level playing field to say the least.
Another “iconic” actor/actress that I’ve never heard of. ho hum
***Wow, the word “iconic” sure seems to have been diluted.***
So many “Iconic” actors I have never heard of suddenly dying young. Maybe he was not so “iconic” after all.
Now when one from the 1950s, 60s or 70s passes away it makes me feel “old”.
“iconic”?? I couldn’t pick him out of a lineup even if I had his picture in hand. Sorry to hear of his demise but ‘iconic’?
Never heard of him or recall seeing him ever.
