A 15-year-old dad-to-be is dead after he was hit by a car that lost control in Sun Valley Saturday night.
The vehicle, which was driven by a 22-year-old man, hit the parked cars and Carlos, who was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead...
Carlos’ family, meanwhile, is mourning the teen, who “was excited to be a dad to his little boy but unfortunately he passed away.”
Flowers were left at the scene of the crash.

Chances are the mother is (or so will be) on welfare with the taxpayers taking the place of the “bread winner” of the family.

Is it me, or do more and more people tend to see personal tragedy as a way to get some $$$ out of it?
Notice “the car” lost control, and “the car” had the accident.
Fluff story trying to get sympathy for the deceased. I can’t imagine ANY 15 year old boy excited to become a dad.

Was Carlos an illegal? Expecting his anchor baby? Did he have nothing better to do than screw around and make babies he could not pay for?

We know it wasn’t an SUV, because if it was the headline would have been “SUV Kills Teen Expectant Father”
Not a question of “chances are.” The girl and baby likely never would have seen a penny from this kid, but now that he’s dead, they will get paid under a special social security program for kids who lose a parent, I believe until the child is 18. I know a family in this precise situation. It’s sad that he’s gone, but to his baby mama, he is quite literally worth more dead than alive.

How Old Was Mary?
The most consistent belief is that Mary was quite young by today’s standards when she was betrothed to Joseph. It was common in ancient Jewish culture for young girls to be betrothed as early as 12 years old.
Given this cultural context, Mary might have been between 12 to 14 years old at the time of her betrothal and subsequent pregnancy with Jesus.
How Old Was Joseph?
Joseph’s age is more debated among scholars. Some ancient texts and apocryphal writings suggest he was an older widower, while others maintain he was closer in age to Mary.
If he were a younger man, he might have been in his late teens to early twenties. However, if the idea of him being an older widower holds true, he could have been much older, even in his 30s or 40s.
