At the Phoenix show the camels are kept outside until required for the finale of the show. They are then led in, they parade around inside for a bit. They then stand there while a song or two is sung. They then go back outside. Their appearance inside might entail maybe 20-25 minutes total. Each camel was guided by a handler.

I am sure the cost of the production is A LOT less than the complainers are thinking. Since most have probably never graced the steps of a church, they have no idea that almost everything that happens in a church is volunteer work and everything is financed through voluntary donations.
Today’s scum only understands income confiscation and purchased services. Even in my lifetime there was a time when people turned to family and the church to take care of those facing trouble. Now we just ship granny to the old folks home until she is broke and on the government dole.

Dr. Schuller’s kids made a mess of the church and they stiffed the providers of animals for the Christmas show. Even Schuller’s son, Robert Jr., a pastor, said there was too much family member involvement in the church’s business. But Dr. Schuller was a good man and he had a great interpretation of Christianity.

My late girl friend was an usher at the church and spoke highly of Robert Schuller. When her heart gave out, her memorial service was held there.

It is amazing and an incredible testament to the glorious birth of Jesus Christ.
The fact that Tik Tok is running an algorithm to bash it tells us that it is indeed wonderful. It is exactly what Jesus predicted in Matthew 5 of the sermon on the mount.

I had someone get upset because I read Youngest Daughter bed time stories. Not what stories I read her but that I read her stories at all. Because apparently there is a finite amount of smart in the world and if I do anything that might boost hers that means it gets taken away from someone else.
Humans are weird and do not have enough problems in their lives currently so they invent them.
I belonged to a church back home, of about 700 members, with an extraordinarily talented staff and congregation, and the Christmas program was fabulous, though no animals or flying angels were in it. But admission was free, as the church considered it a part of ministry. It was a rather wealthy congregation, (well, not all of us were wealthy) and had members who obediently tithed.
I was musing recently to family ... where is the animal poop and pee (clinically speaking that would be feces and urine from, ya know, sheep and pigs and cows)?
Authentic never smelled so good as these modern day offerings.
What were they thinking? They left out the STINKING!!
