@JohnCornyn

One of the biggest responsibilities Congress has each year is to provide for the common defense, ensuring our military has the tools & resources it needs to keep Americans safe.

The Arch-RINO from Texas is rubbing our faces in it

Look at the comments:

'I will vote for your replacement'

'Traitor. It authorizes more spying on Americans. Go figure. Cowards'

' You voted to authorize FISA along with it and I knew you would. Thank god this is your last round in congress.'

etc etc

So what? With the deep level of abuse in the political realm, it cannot be fixed. Tell me the “repair” that would fix it?
This is utterly un-American and has no place in a free society.

And here’s the other fun part, don’t do like Bush and Obama and let in a million each of moslems, and then say you need to have a massive domestic spying regimen to keep us safe.

Trash the whole thing.

Hopefully, as MAGA Texas grows and Bush Texas wanes, he can be replaced.

To me, the FISA/FISC reauthorization strengthening in 702 is on a par with that nitwit GWB’s formation of the TSA and DHS in terms of outright stealing Americans’ freedoms. They are the price to pay for GOP RINOs’ take in getting all the carve-outs secreted in the NDAA. It’s one of the places they make all their money from, IMO.

Yes indeed...
We can always depend on the GOP to maintain the status quo of its perpetual circle-jerk...

In fact, after any of its absolutely feckless & phony orchestrated “struggles” against tyranny, things turn out worse than the Communist Party had hoped for...

That will never happen, even with Trump. He didn’t trash it in his first term and he won’t trash it if he gets elected for a second term. We are passed the point of no return.

I think it’s fairly clear, there are cells in this country now and no president will be willing to trash it and then terrorists strike like an Oct. 7th attack. If a president did away with the surveillance, he would be tarred, feathered and run out of office for dropping the ball. No one is going to be willing to take the blame for the attacks.
