The odds may still be stacked against her in the Republican primary. But should former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley capture the nomination, a stunning new poll suggests the general election would be a cakewalk for her.
According to a new poll from the Wall Street Journal out Saturday, Haley — in a hypothetical one-on-one matchup with President Joe Biden — currently has a remarkable 17-point lead, 51-34. Should the matchup materialize and the margin hold, it would represent the largest winning general margin since 1984 — when former President Ronald Reagan topped Walter Mondale by 18 points.
Of course, in order for that matchup to happen, Haley would have to beat former President Donald Trump in the Republican primary — and the most recent polls still show her trailing in that contest by 40 points or more.

Let me guess: The part of the poll where Trump leads Biden is real, the part of the poll where Haley leads Biden by a bigger margin is fake?
BS poll. The objective is to have us believe Haley is the strongest candidate in much the same way they pushed McCain. She can’t win without Trump supporters who make up the majority of the GOP and Independents.
Haley is the Uniparty candidate. She won’t even win S.C. against Trump.

Dems would rather run against Haley, they can destroy her, and they cannot destroy Trump.

Talk about a PATHETIC attempt at rigging a Primary.
They should have made it closer, like 46-39, so that at least SOME Republicans may have believed it, considering this is the FIRST POLL, that I know of, that even showed Nimroda ahead of Biden.
I’m not a big fan of DeSantis, but virtually everything he’s said lately is a clone of Nimroda, yet we’re supposed to believe that a HUGE number of Americans would vote Nimroda over Biden, but not DeSantis over Biden?
Were the people being polled even told Nimroda is a Republican? I ask, because it’s difficult to believe that her name recognition is above 25% in the overall country - given her background.

So the only polls that are not bogus are the polls that show the rump with a massive lead....

That’s because she is undefined and has benefited from favorable press. If she was the nominee, her numbers would drop
