Once a month I work at a Food Bank distribution. Before Covid we had about 250 families. Now, weekend before Thanksgiving, we had 1025 and turned away 500.
Only about 20% speak English, most speak Spanish.
This work is in a semi-rural area southwest of Houston.
We try to help the sick and the poor - but the system is overwhelmed. There is a huge need. Bidenomics in action.

Stores here seem to be holding onto produce much,much longer. This past week half of what was donated I wouldn’t eat myself, let alone give to someone struggling. Our director told us to put it in the bag anyway and hand it out. Cars were waiting 3 hours...to get their allotment. 3 hours...
